I would totally watch Jude Law & Order
June 8th, 2016 under Jude Law, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

NBC has spent a lot of time building up Dick Wolf’s Chicago shows that they have completely forgotten about the Law & Order franchise. Looks like that is all about to change because yesterday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the CBS show debuted the trailer for Jude Law & Order. It looks like it will be the biggest new show of the year.
Who wouldn’t want to watch him playing every role on the show? I know I do.
Plus, who knew he could do better New Yawk accent than most New Yawkers, including me.

Sean Hayes says he ‘basically gave birth to a child out of his my penis!’
May 25th, 2016 under Sean Hayes, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

Sean Hayes was heading to a matinee performance of his show Act of Gd in LA when he suddenly had to pee. But then he had a pain so intense like he never experienced before. One so bad, he asked them to call him an ambulance. When he got to the hospital, he found out that he had a kidney stone that was getting ready to pass.
They say it is the male equivalent of having a baby and he agrees. He told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, “I basically gave birth to a child out of my penis!” A notion he took so much to heart that he named his baby The Rock. The Rock even looks like a smaller version of Dwayne Johnson, don’t you think?

Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are not nice guys to each other!
May 13th, 2016 under Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: 1 ]

Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling might be nice to each other in the their movie The Nice Guys, but on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert it was completely another story. When the new dad said that Crowe wouldn’t do the movie with him, the Oscar winner said he was referring to all Ryans. At that point, Gosling’s feelings were hurt and he walked out. The CBS host continued the interview without the heartthrob, but the cutie wasn’t going to let that happen. He kept interrupting it, until the Gladiator fired off a T-Shirt at him from a gun. Then when Gosling finally came back, Colbert screwed it all up.
That would’ve been a much funnier bit if it didn’t last 6 minutes. Colbert needs to learn how to not make a planned bit feel not feel so planned. It should feel more natural and not so stiff. I’ve seen better acting in school plays. What do you think?

Has the cast of Big Bang Theory learned anything from the show?
May 10th, 2016 under Kaley Cuoco, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: 5 ]

Kaley Cuoco was on The Late Show and Stephen Colbert wanted to know if she could have a Scientific discussion with someone since she has worked on The Big Bang Theory for 9 years. She told him no, no, no. I am assuming not wanting to be alone about this, she sold out her castmates and said that they couldn’t either. Then she revealed, “It is all BS. We have real people there who have actual real brains who write all of that stuff. And we not so much. We say what is on the page and the best that we can get through.” She is smart enough to realize that her co-stars are not going to like that she revealed that fact. I guess they just play nerds on TV.
If it wasn’t enough that her co-stars are upset with her, she also made a large population hate her too. The former-child star told the CBS host that she doesn’t like working with babies. She is hoping that Penny doesn’t get pregnant because she finds them to be divas who work only a few minutes a day and get to do what they want.

Is there really any hope for The Late Show turning around with Stephen Colbert?
May 4th, 2016 under Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

When CBS announced that Stephen Colbert was replacing David Letterman on The Late Show, I had high hopes for him. Then when he started to do pre-taped bits before the show’s launch, I couldn’t wait for it to debut. Then it did, and I couldn’t even get through the first episode. I shut it off during his first interview which was with the pompous George Clooney.
As I did with the other new late night hosts, I started watching his clips online to see if there was anything to post. He was the first one of them that I couldn’t watch any of his online videos all the way through. In fact, I could barely even watch up to a minute on 90% of them. They are unwatchable. And if I can’t even watch :60 seconds of his show, how am I going to get through 60 minutes? I can’t.
Well, a few weeks ago, he got a new Show Runner from CBS news, and I thought maybe the show would improve. After not watching any of his viral videos since the new guy took over, I thought I would give the above video a try. It was painfully awful. No offense to Dakota Johnson, she can’t handle comedy. Not that there was any in this short of Colbert pretending he didn’t know anything about the movie she was there promoting. But if you are going to attempt something like that then do it with someone that can do funny.
Any hope I had of this show turning around are now gone. I think it is time for CBS to bite the bullet and look for his replacement. I am sure Comedy Central would take him back with open arms since their two new guys are doing just as bad as him.
I know I am not alone with my distaste of his new show. A lot of people who watched The Colbert Report have also turned him off.
I know that Seth Meyers had a tough first year, but he now has one of the strongest late night shows on television. Unlike Colbert, Meyers was always a strong interviewer. Colbert has nothing going for him.
Sorry Stephen, I tried. I can’t don’t do it anymore. You really need to evaluate what you want to do next because this is not for you.
