Ty Burrell tells two embarrassing stories on Late Night with Seth Meyers
March 5th, 2020 under Modern Family, Seth Meyers. [ Comments: none ]

Ty Burrell was on Late Night yesterday, and he told Seth Meyers two stories that made me pity him.

The first one is when he met an agent in NYC, who told him how many changes he would have to make if he wanted to make it as an actor. When he was done with the meeting, he was literally sh!tting in his pants. As in he pooped in them at Times Square. He felt like he hit rock bottom.

He might’ve, but we know, he climbed to the top after thanks to Modern Family. So much so, someone hacked into his emails a few years ago and tried to sell incriminating information on him. Didn’t hear about that? That is because there was nothing interesting that anyone wanted to buy.

How sad is that? There is not one thing about that is even remotely scandalous. Poor Ty. At least, we can accept him as a talented actor. He might have a boring life, but he can act his way out of anything.

Adam Pally punched Baby Yoda too hard
February 13th, 2020 under Seth Meyers, Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

Late last year, Adam Pally became one of the most hated people in the World because he punched Baby Yoda in The Mandalorian. It turns out; we did not hate him as much as the crew who worked on the show. Yesterday, he told Seth Meyers on Late Night, why they all detest him.

It is because when they shot scene, he hit the sweet, innocent, beloved Baby Yoda way too hard. As soon as he did, everyone jumped up and were like WTF did you do? Director Jon Favreau had to explain to him that he was working on a movie now and that Baby Yoda is very expensive. He needs to be a lot gentler with his punches. The actor understood what he had to do now.

When it was time to shoot the scene again, he was still getting looks of disdain from everyone. Therefore, he decided to try to break the ice. Thus, he told them all that before he clocked his nemesis, BT “said something antisemitic to him.” Did they laugh? Not at all, they wanted to clock him like he clocked Baby Yoda.

Baby Yoda is a beloved icon like Henry Winkler, and no one should mess with him. I am talking to you, Hanks. Anyways, back to Pally, if someone hurts someone, who is just as loveable, they should feel a wrath that not even Jar Jar Binks has experienced. Poor Jar Jar Binks.

Leslie Jones shares how she found out she landed SNL
January 31st, 2020 under Leslie Jones, Seth Meyers. [ Comments: none ]

Leslie Jones was on Late Night yesterday, and Seth Meyers wanted to know where she was when she found out that she was joining Saturday Night Live. That was when she told him the wild story of how it happened. You know it is going to be good when she lets out a huge laugh before she tells it.

She went in all cocky, thinking she was at the top of her game. Which at the time, she was for what she was doing. After spending a week watching how they did the show, she really wanted to be part of it.

When the week was over, she went back to LA and waited for their call. Well, not really. She went on her with her normal routine. As she was driving to get her nails done, she kept getting calls from a 212 number. She thoought they were going to tell her she didn’t get the job. As soon as she parked, she decided to pick up the call. The voice, on the other end, told her that Lorne Michaels was on the phone for her. Michaels told her, he wanted her to start out as a writer because he did not know what to do with her just yet.

Then when they got off the phone, she got out of her car and ran around the parking lot, screaming like a maniac. The security guard stopped her to find out what was wrong with her. She told him she got SNL, and he wanted to know if it was a disease.

Jones can make any boring story exciting. Just likeb she does on her standup special that is on Netflix now

BTWF: Lin-Manuel Miranda and William Jackson Harper on Electric Company
January 29th, 2020 under Before They Were Famous, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Seth Meyers. [ Comments: none ]

Before Lin-Manuel Miranda was writing Rap Musicals for Broadway, he was doing that for Electric Company. How on beat were the two 29-year-old actors in 2010?

William Jackson Harper talked about this song yesterday on Late Night with Seth Meyers. I, for one, am happy that Miranda didn’t remember him for Hamilton. If he did remember his old castmate, then Harper might not have gone on to The Good Place. And he is so good on it!

Does that candle really smell like Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina?
January 23rd, 2020 under Gwyneth Paltrow, Seth Meyers. [ Comments: 1 ]

Y’all have heard that Gwyneth Paltrow is selling a candle on Goop that is called This Smells Like My Vagina. Even though it costs $75, people still spent the money to find out if it does.

Since Seth Meyers can not get his hands on one, he asked her it does on Late Night yesterday. She shared with the NBC how it got its name. She was with the man who created the scent, and he lit it up for her to sniff. Her reaction, as soon as she got a whiff of it, was, “I smell this beautiful thing, and I was like this smells like my vagina.” However, she was just joking. It does not smell like her vagina.

What does she think her vagina smells like? According to the website, it smells like, “geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed.” Thus, she thinks her vajayjay smells like roses. Would you think otherwise?

Why did they go with that name? The actress feels that “I think woman, a lot of us, have grown up feeling certain degrees of shame around our body or whatever. So this is just a little bit of a, you know, subversive candle for all of us out there.” That, and the name is “punk rock.”

Now I wonder if all of those people, who bought it, are thinking of returning it. Could it be considered to be false advertising?
