Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez will star in the ABC Family original movie "Holidays in Handcuffs." Hart will play Trudie, a would-be painter stuck working as a waitress. After blowing an interview at a "real" job — disappointing her parents yet again — and getting dumped by her boyfriend, Trudie suffers a nervous breakdown. Stressed with having to go home alone for the holidays, she kidnaps a customer, Clay Martin (Lopez), whom she plans to bring home for Christmas and introduce him to the family as "the One." "Holidays" is set to begin principal photography this month in Calgary. Ron Underwood ("City Slickers") is directing. It is scheduled to air in December as part of ABC Family’s annual "25 Days of Christmas" programing event.
Tiffani Thiessen has joined the cast of ABC’s drama "What About Brian" as a regular. On the ensemble show about a group of supportive friends in various stages of romantic relationships, Thiessen will play Natasha Dylan, a former intern of Dave’s (Rick Gomez) who becomes his new boss at KC Gaming. Sexy, manipulative and a shrewd businesswoman, Natasha loves playing mind games with all the friends, especially Brian (Barry Watson) and Adam (Matthew Davis), and uses her attractiveness, smarts and charm to get what she wants. "Brian," from Touchstone TV and Bad Robot, airs at 10 p.m. Mondays.
Now that he’s opted for an exciting career in homemade porn, perhaps actor Dustin Diamond will be able to book more personal appearances during which he regales audiences with stories from his days as Screech on TV’s "Saved By The Bell." If that happens, promoters nationwide will have to adhere to rules promulgated in the contract rider Diamond has previously circulated (a copy of that document can be found below). The 29-year-old Diamond, you see, is very strict when it comes to his billing, which should not be Screech-centric, since that was "one of many characters that Artist portrayed earlier in his career." In fact, violations of Diamond’s billing policy will result in a promoter being levied a $100 fine for every offending ad, flyer, or marquee. Other Diamond demands include "one well-lit parking space" at the venue, two pints of "chilled" chocolate milk in his dressing room, and round-trip airfare. "Artist," though, "will not fly stand by." And when deplaning, he is to "be met at the airport gate with a sign that says: ‘DIAMOND.’" The rider also notes that Diamond does two types of shows: stand-up performances and lectures. When he’s telling jokes (some of which are blue), "You are getting a mature Dustin Diamond not Screech," the rider notes. During a lecture, Diamond speaks about breaking into the business and offers behind-the-scenes stories from "Saved By The Bell." He will also do "the Screech voice, face, and walk." The agreement also allows Diamond to cancel appearances in case he is "called upon to render his services in connection with a motion picture(s), television show(s), legitimate stage play, or Nevada or Atlantic City engagement(s)."
Seriously why would anyone book him in the first place? And then if did book him, why would they want to keep him if they could not promote him as Screech? I mean this guy is a jerk and what else has he done besides Screech and the most boring sex tape in history? He needs to get over himself because we have all gotten over him!
He has the perfect name for a porn star, but Dustin Diamond (Screech from the 1990s series Saved by the Bell) tells Us Weekly that he wasn’t looking for a second career when he filmed himself having sex with two women four years ago. “I’m not an adult actor,” he says. “I did something stupid in private.” Diamond met the women when he was on the road doing stand-up comedy. “It was a bachelorette party and the bride-to-be and one of her bridesmaids were staying at one of the local hotels and they invited me back to come back and party,” he explains. Now the Milwaukee resident, 29, is sharing that moment in a 40-minute sex tape to be released in November. Diamond – who’s dating his manager, Jennifer Misner, 30 – says he and some pals each made sex tapes as a joke. But someone (he claims he doesn’t know who) leaked his. At first, he threatened to sue, but instead has agreed to take a cut of the profits. “I thought, I can spend a fortune fighting this or I can try to make a fortune,” he tells Us. And Diamond, who is also releasing a comedy CD in November, doesn’t sound very regretful. He tells Us, “Let’s just say, if I were a small man, it would be worse.” The actor made the tape around the same time he met Misner and says that when the tape came out, “She wasn’t happy at all.” But he defends his actions. “We were just dating. It was the very beginning, you know? There’s a difference between being committed and just — I mean, at that point, if she had pulled any kind of power trip, I would’ve said, ‘Uh oh, psycho!’ and I never would’ve called her again.” Does he still keep in touch with any of his former castmates? “No, I am always on the road and they are all out in California. People just won’t let the Saved by the Bell stuff go!”
He is just so sad. I feel bad for the women that sleep with him in the video because they slept with him and now everyone knows that they did. I mean would you want to admit you slept with Dustin Diamond?
Last Thursday night, I went to a screening of this Saturday’s (October 14th at 9p) Sci Fi Channel movie Haunted Prison. And all I have to say is the movie is amazing! Recently, the movies on Sci Fi’s Saturday night have been…well…painful. So when I saw the trailer for Haunted Prison I thought the streak of bad movies on Sci Fi was over, and then when I saw the movie it was confirmed. In fact Haunted Prison is better than a lot of horror movies I have recently seen in theaters! The movie is based in an abandoned prison, where several years earlier a prison riot left all but one person, a warden (Stacy Keach) dead. Fast forward to present day, a documentary film crew decides to tell the story of the prison at the same a bunch of jewerly robbers (lead by Jake Busey) are forced to hide out in the prison. While in normal circumstances the living should be more afraid of each other, in this movie it is the dead you should fear. This is the third movie I have seen from Writer, Director and Producer Kevin VanHook and I think is the best of one them all! What makes this movie so amazing? Well the special effects will blow you away. The deaths are original, extremely gory and so well done; it will be amazing to see how many of them will actually be shown in their entirety on Sci Fi. The acting in this movie seals the deal! Stacy Keach as always is such a great son of a bitch. Jake Busey as a psycho jewelry robber is perfect for him. And then there is the documentary cameraman played by Scott Whyte, he is so freaking likeable that you just root for him to survive! So tune in or set your Tivo/DVR to record Haunted Prison on Sci Fi this Saturday at 9p because I promise you if you love a good horror movie, you are going to love this movie!
