Janes Curtain was on Watch What Happens Live yesterday and Andy Cohen wanted to talk to her about her time on Saturday Night Live.
One of the things he wanted to know is what was her relationship like with Lorne Michaels, the show’s creator. She told the Bravo host, around the third season, she asked him to get some help for John Belushi because he was going to die without it (as we know she was right). She says he told her, “What can I do?” And she figured what is the point of talking to him after that, so she stopped talking to him. If he wanted her to do something, he would go through Gilda Radner and vice versa.
Did she talk to him at the 40th Anniversary special? Curtain thanked him for getting the old gang together. It was a great night for all of the Not Ready for Prime Time Players. She then explained how that night came about. The gang got together for Tom Davis’ memorial service and Bill Murray told Michaels that they were not getting any younger and it was about time that he did something for them. The rest, as we know, was a great night of television.
When she was asked who was the worst guest host during her time on the show, she said, “Gosh, there were so many.” Then she settled with Walter Matthau. The actress said he came to play and did not take the job seriously. Something she thought was disrespectful. Who were the others? We are only left to guess.
No matter what side of the political spectrum you swing on, you walked away pissed from the Bett Kavanaugh hearings. Well, not anymore because Matt Damon put on his wig for Saturday Night Live and played the scandalous Supreme Court nominee. Finally, I was able to laugh with them and not at them.
BTW it is very fitting that Kate McKinnon played Lindsey Graham. Not only because he has a girl’s name but also because he is the president’s b!tch!
Kate McKinnon is used to dressing up on Saturday Night Live all the time, but most of the time she dresses up as monsters like Jeff Sessions. Sesame Street asked her to dress up for them. Although, they asked her to read about a monster and not be one.
Who is that monster? Why Elmo of course! He might not be your ordinary one, but he is one Mother Goose can write a nursery rhyme about. If more monsters were like him, the world would be a better place.
When it comes to McKinnon. It looks like she could totally have a career as the host of a kids show because the look really suits her. Or should I say the dress suits her? Better than the Ghostbusters’ one. That is a whole other story, one no kid or adult should know about.
Before Pete Davidson was part of the Not Ready for Primetime Players on Saturday Night Live, he was a junior police member on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He looks the same now as he did when he was 19 on that 2013 episode.
Just weeks after Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson started dating, made it Instagram official and he got some ink in her honor, Us Weekly is reporting that they are engaged.
Even though they rushed into an engagement, they are not rushing to have a wedding. A source told the magazine, they are looking forward to a long engagement.
The two have something in common. The SNL comedian lost his father on 9/11 and the singer as we know had just finished her show in Manchester when a bomb went off. They share a pain that most people cannot understand and you need someone who understands what you are going through to get over something that you never can.
Congrats to the two! Just one piece of advice, don’t have any donuts at the reception!
