Sabrina Carpenter was the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live yesterday, and she will go down in the show’s history books.
Why? During her second song, Nobody’s Son, she sang the word fuck, not once but twice. And the censors didn’t catch it. Thus, both fucks went out live.
Will the FCC do anything about it? Probably not because she didn’t mention donald trump, and that seems to be all they care about these days.
And when are we going to get over curse words? Did you know that people who use them are more intelligent, show they trust you, and they help people reduce pain? So go ahead and curse, it is good for you! Be a Sabrina Carpenter!
Over the last few weeks, Saturday Night Live has announced who is leaving and who will be replacing them. And it looks like they have finally set all of the Not Ready for Primetime Players for season 51.
Now, it is time for them to start announcing who will be spending a week with them to host, perform, or do both on the NBC Variety show.
Bad Bunny starts things off on October 4th by hosting for the second time. However, unlike when he hosted during season 49, he will not be performing this time. That title will go to Doja Cat, who is making her SNL debut.
She is not the only one doing that this season. Role Model makes his musical performance debut on the 11th. He will be accompanying Amy Poehler, who is hosting for a third time.
Then on the 18th, Sabrina Carpenter will need a lot of Espresso because she goes from doing cameos to hosting for the first time and performing for the second (not including the special).
Which host/musical performer are you most looking forward to seeing the most?
A year ago, Sabrina Carpenter was all about Espresso. But now she is all about Johnnie Walker Scotch. So the alcoholic company signed a multi-year partnership with the singer.
The partnership marks the first verse of Johnnie Walker’s plans to collaborate with progressive voices in music to tell their unique stories of progress, and shape the future of how and where people can enjoy Johnnie Walker Black Label. Timed to the release of Carpenter’s highly anticipated new album, Man’s Best Friend, the Johnnie Walker x Sabrina Carpenter partnership will offer fans of legal drinking age Sabrina’s take on her favorite classic whisky cocktails, and album-inspired content that reflects the confident, playful spirit of her new sound.
“Johnnie Walker has evolved through generations to become the modern icon it is today, and Sabrina is on a similar path with Man’s Best Friend, stepping into a more confident, self-assured chapter while keeping her signature charm,” said JJ Stratford, director and video artist. “In developing this campaign, we nodded to the golden age of spirits advertising, then layered in Sabrina’s bold yet timeless aesthetic, clever humor, and a modern wink to make it unmistakably her own.”
Fans over 21 can try Sabrina’s signature Johnnie Walker Black Label cocktails, including a Manhattan, a whisky sour, and a whisky highball at select dates of her Short n’ Sweet Tour.
Carpenter’s album Man’s Best Friend was released today to positive reviews from critics and fans alike.
Before uptight people were coming for Sabrina Carpenter because of her sexual performance, they were coming after her because she had Miracle Whip. I love how tough the 12-year-old was in that 2012 commercial.
