Before Rob Lowe was becoming a father on Brothers & Sister, he was Schoolboy Father. How adorable was the 16 year old Rob Lowe with that hair in that 1980 Afterschool Special. His acting has definitely improved with time, but one thing that hasn’t changed are those gorgeous blue eyes and nice tan!!!
Rob Lowe was told to lay low on the sun tanning according to WENN.
He says, "I got a phone call from the president of ABC who said, 'You're getting too dark. Seriously, stay out of the sun.' I go, 'I'm not tanning. I'm active. I surf and I kayak.'"
And Lowe blames his pale co-stars for him now having to slather on the sunscreen before stepping outside.
He adds, "If you stand next to Calista Flockhart, anybody's going to look like (singer) Harry Belafonte. I wear (sunscreen) over my entire face and a hat that has a chin strap. I look like the biggest idiot."
I think Stephen McPherson, the head of ABC is making a big mistake because Rob Lowe's tan really brings out his gorgeous blue eyes. I think if anything Calista Flockhart should get some sun before Rob stops.
20 years ago Rob Lowe sang and danced in the opening Oscar number with Snow White and he is still traumatized from it. Last night when he was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and he shared the experience that left him scarred all these years later. And after watching it, I can totally see why because I am horrified from it and I was just watching it and not the one that was part of it.
Wow! That just left me speechless and numb.
Personally I think his sex video was less damaging to his career than the 61st Oscars.
Side note – Did you see who was in the audience and how young some of them looked like Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr, Glenn Close and Sigourney Weaver to name a few?
Rob Lowe was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and he told him about the devastating incident when he accidentally killed a poor innocent state bird of Iowa in March with a golf ball. Who knew that killing a state bird could be so funny! This is the second best thing I ever saw Rob Lowe do, the first was his sex tape!!!
BTW now I wonder if Rob Lowe got the bird stuffed and hung him up over his chimney? I think he did.
