Farmer Wants a Wife premieres on The CW tonight at 9p!!!
April 30th, 2008 under Reviews, The CW. [ Comments: 4 ]

Farmer Wants a Wife is as hot as the Farmer’s body!!! This show is different than the other dating shows because they are taking the girls out of their city comfort zones and dumping them in the country. And we are talking the real country and living on a farm. Can these girls do it? I sure as heck know I couldn’t, I am proud to say I am too much of a city girl!
These girls who are used to being pampered are in for a shell shock when they are put in a real American home and they have to do real farm work like round up chickens. I mean they show up to the Farmer’s land in heels. Hello the key word is land and heels and dirt go. They are also in full makeup and short slutty dresses trying to catch chickens. Oh and these girls are great! They are bitchy, catty and act like they really like the country as and if! Josie is your classic reality villainousness and you will be rooting for her to stay just because she is so evil!!! Did you see those pictures I posted of her in Playboy yesterday?
This show is just great and I promise you will enjoy it as much as me!
BTW they have one of the most original elimination ceremonies, I have ever seen and I hope they will keep them up for the whole series!!!
So tune into Farmer Wants a Wife tonight at 9p on The CW for a hoe down we will enjoy!

Celebracadabra is just pure magic!
April 27th, 2008 under Reviews, VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

Celebracadabra premieres on VH1 tonight at 9p and after seeing the first two episodes of the show, I can tell you this show is magical!
I was in awe how much fun and completive this show is! The celebs include Hal Sparks from Queer As Folk, C. Thomas Howell from lots of good ’80s teen flicks, Lisa Ann Walter from Shall We Dance, Chris Reid from Kid’n’Play, Kimberly Wyatt from Pussycat Doills, Carnie Wilson from Wilson Phillips and ANT.
The show is about 7 celebs who do magic each week in different scenarios and each week one disappears (literally) and won’t win the $100,000 grand prize. The first week it all about street performances, the second week is kids and the third is a drunken college bar! It is fun to watch the different magic acts they do and how they have to switch up for where and whom they are performing them for. Do Hal Sparks, Chris Reid, Lisa Ann Walter and ANT have a leg up because they are also stand-up comedians or will it hurt them?
Mid-way through the first episode you will learn that ANT is the a$$hole of the show and makes Celebrity Fit Club’s Screech look like an angel compared to him. He tries to create allies and if you say no he sabotages their act. In the second episode we really see how much he is deathly afraid of clowns, so if you ever see ANT hopefully you will have picture of a clown to show him! What he does during the elimination process of the second episode is one of the most heinous, disgusting and disrespectable things I have seen and he should be eliminated just for that, but will the Judges see things the same way as me. I am not in love with him as a host, I am hate him even more as a contestant. ANT needs to go back to whatever ant farm he came.
When it comes to the rest of the contestants they are fun and likable and hopefully will introduce most of you the brilliance of Lisa Ann Walter. I want to learn some of the tricks they do and you can at ICanLearnMagic.com!
So tune in to Celebracadabra tonight on VH1 at 9p and every Sunday to be amazed and then some!
Oh and don’t forget to watch the Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp finale tonight!

Moonlight is finally back on CBS tonight at 9p!!!
April 25th, 2008 under Alex O'Loughlin, Reviews. [ Comments: none ]

MICK’S BRIEF ENCOUNTER WITH MORTALITY IS IN JEOPARDY WHEN BETH IS KIDNAPPED BY A SUSPECTED MURDERER, ON “MOONLIGHT,” FRIDAY, APRIL 25
“Fated To Pretend” – When Beth is kidnapped by a suspect in the murder case of her boss at Buzzwire, Mick is forced to decide whether saving her is worth sacrificing being human again, on MOONLIGHT!

After months of waiting my favorite new show of the season Moonlight to return it is finally back on CBS tonight at 9p and did Mick always look that good or is him being human again to the key to that! And let me tell you after seeing this episode being human agrees with him, but then again so does being a Vampire.
This show came back strong and the chemistry between Mick and Beth is still there if not stronger! And the writers are back with the force of trying to get a stake through a Vampire’s heart.
If you have never seen this show then you missing out, so stop that trend and check it tonight on CBS at 9p. If you are fan of Moonlight, you will enjoy this show even more and believe me it as possible!!!

April 16th, 2008 under Reviews, TV Land. [ Comments: none ]

You do not have to be nearing The Big 4-0 to enjoy TV Land’s new show. This show is fun and interesting and makes me excited to hit The Big 4-0 just so I can throw a party for it! (Luckily that is years and years away!)
The premiere episode starts with Derrick, a former-NFLer and a current coach at Georgia Tech, who wants to prove he still has it. So he asks some friends to battle it out on the football field against his students. He has 40 days to get in shape for his Big 4-0 party or game! Derrick has such an amazing, cheerful attitude that you enjoy watching his journey to his big day!
So tune into tonight on TV Land at 10p to see if Derrick’s Big 4-0 will be a touchdown and don’t change the dial at 10:30p as Lisa reveals that she is turning Big 4-0 to her friends who finally find out her age!!!

Memory Keeper’s Daughters premires on Lifetime tonight at 9p
April 12th, 2008 under Lifetime, Reviews. [ Comments: 2 ]

The birth of a child should be the happiest moment in a couple’s life. But when a doctor’s wife has twins, one of whom has Down syndrome, this physician makes the difficult decision to send one of his babies away. An attending nurse discovers his plan and intervenes, putting into motion events that will haunt the doc, his wife and his son for the next 20 years. This all-star movie features Dermot Mulroney (“The Wedding Date”), Gretchen Mol (“3:10 to Yuma”) and two-time Oscar nominee Emily Watson (“Angela’s Ashes”). Based on The New York Times best-selling novel, Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards.

Memory Keeper’s Daughter is an amazing movie and is one of those movies that is good as the trailer makes it seems. It starts out in 1964 with a women giving birth to twins, one healthy and one who her and her husband did not know she was having who is born with down syndrome. Her husband who is a doctor realizes that his daughter has down syndrome tells the nurse to take her to institution and they will take care of her there, but tells his wife the baby died. All this sounds shocking. but this movie shows what a different time it was back in the ’60s from the birth to how they handled mentally challenged people back then. We have come a long way since 1964, thankfully.
But back to the movie, the movie then goes on to follow both families, the doctor’s is torn apart and the nurse finds one.
The story is great with an ending that will make that will keep the movie in your memory for a long time! So tune in to Memory Keeper’s Daughter tonight at 9p on Lifetime!
