July 6th, 2008 under Reviews, VH1/MTV. [ Comments: 1 ]

VH1 presents the new television series “I Love Money” where 15 wildly popular cast members from the “of Love” series get the chance to battle it out for what they wanted all along, fame and money! Last time these cast members competed it was for the heart of Bret, New York, or Flavor Flav, but this time its for $250,000 cash!

I Love Money is the best of all the VH1 Celebreality love shows because they put all the best contestants from I Love NY, Flavor of Love and Rock of Love together and instead vying for love they they are competing for $250,000. This show is a hot mess and I was hooked just from the description!
This show is so much fun and I have only seen the first episode. But just watching this preview it is only going to get better. The cat fights, love affairs and drunkiness have yet to start, but when they do this show will be hotter than a July day in Vegas! Plus the contestants are dressed for that day, so there is plenty of eye candy for everyone!
So tune in to I Love Money tonight and every Sunday at 9p on VH1 for a show 7 reality shows in the making!!!

The Secret Life of the American Teenager premieres tonight!
July 1st, 2008 under Freeform, Reviews, The Secret Life of an American Teenager. [ Comments: 7 ]

Good-girl band geek Amy is smart, talented…and pregnant. Super-Christian cheerleader Grace wants to wait until she’s married. As their secrets start to spread to the parents and to friends like bad-boy Ricky and wild-child Adrian, everyone’s secrets and stories start to come to the surface.

I have to admit when I asked for a review screener of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager because Molly Ringwald was in it, but what I got was so much more! I love The Secret Life of the American Teenager that premieres tonight at 8p on ABC Family. It is well written and shows the struggles of what teens goes through these days.
You have Amy who wasn’t sure she had sex, her first and only time, until she found out she’s pregnant. Ricky who is the father and a player, has a reason why he sleeps with as many girls as possible and you will learn that reason tonight. Adrian who is your normal sexually active teenage girl. Grace who wears a purity ring and her boyfriend Jack who is not sure he can wait until she is finished with med school before they do it. And then there is Ben who is your average teen who falls for Amy. Ben joins band just to impress Amy and it works! Molly Ringwald plays Amy’s mom. John Schneider and Josie Bissett play Grace’s parents.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager is a show that teens and parents should watch together. It has something for everyone and hopefully it will helps parents and teens talk frankly about sex because that is the best place for kids to get their sexual education.
So tune in to The Secret Life of the American Teenager tonight and every Tuesday at 8p on ABC Family!!!
UPDATE: For parents and teens who want to know a little more about opening up the communication on sex, The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancies has a guide to talk about the different topics that were discussed on the show.

The Tenth Circle premieres on Lifetime tonight!
June 28th, 2008 under Lifetime, Reviews. [ Comments: 1 ]

The Stone family’s seemingly idyllic lives are shattered when their daughter, Trixie, is the victim of a date rape. But there are holes in Trixie’s story, and when another violent crime occurs that may be linked to the rapist, the entire Stone family finds themselves under suspicion. Can they all survive the truth and make it out of their personal circle of hell? Based on the New York Times best-selling book by Jodi Picoult and starring Kelly Preston, Britt Robertson and Ron Eldard.

The Tenth Circle premieres on Lifetime tonight at 9p. The movie is full of so many twists and it keeps you guessing until the credits roll. You never know what is going to happen next, but when all the twists and turns are revealed everything will make sense!
The cast does not give any way of plot twists and the chemistry between them all. Britt Robertson is amazing as Trixie, a role so different than her role on CBS”s Swingtown. Ron Eldard and Kelly Preston play her parents and each is strong in their own right as they console their daughter.
The Tenth Circle is a movie that comes comes full circle, so tune into Lifetime at 9p and watch as it does.

Shear Genius is back for a second cut tonight!
June 25th, 2008 under Bravo, Reviews. [ Comments: none ]

Shear Genius is back for a second season tonight on Bravo and this season is proving to be better than last season just in the first challenge alone! I won’t spoil, but let’s just I would never get in the chair if the stylist was performing that challenge on me. Saying that I was sincerely impressed by a lot of the stylists! This year’s stylist are really good and original and the one person I wanted out was eliminated!
Just from watching the first episode of season 2 I am so excited for this season! I can’t wait to see what hairstyles they come up with for the challenges and how many cat fights they will get in to!!! BTW did I mention that there is going to a be a Charlie Angel’s challenge with Kate Jackson judging and reuniting with her former-Angels co-star Jaclyn Smith who is the host of Shear Genius!!!
So tune in to Shear Genius which is a cut above the rest tonight on Bravo at 10p!
