Bones does Halloween tonight on Fox at 8p
October 30th, 2007 under Bones, Halloween, Reviews. [ Comments: none ]

After 3 seasons Bones finally gets its first Halloween episode on Fox tonight at 8p. You would think a show all about dead bodies would have had one already, but it good things come to those wait. Tonight's spooktacular episode opens up with a mummified body dressed up as a mummy being discovered in a haunted maze. The discoveries don't stop there as another teen mummified girl is found in a near-by Haunted House. After the 2 bodies are found a couple thinks that one of them might be their daughter who has been missing a week. When the team tells them that one body has been dead a year and the other two years Brennan and Booth realize that they are on race to find the missing girl before she becomes next years mummified mummy. Will they find the girl in time and still make it to Jeffersonian Halloween party?
This episode so had me guessing until the end, I had no idea who was the killer. Unlike other procedural shows, I find this one the lease predictable. So tune into Bones tonight at 8p on Fox!

Nip/Tuck finally back tonight on FX at 10p
October 30th, 2007 under Nip/Tuck, Reviews. [ Comments: none ]

After what seems like forever Nip/Tuck is back on FX tonight at 10p with a new locale and lots of changes. The show sort of picks up where last season left off in LA, but that is about it. McNamara/Troy are struggling in their new zip code to get any clientèle and having the lives they once had in Miami. The big fish are now guppies until they meet Lauren Hutton (who doesn't age) and changes their luck. She helps them attract business in a new (legit) way and now Sean is the stud and Christian is the Sean.
Julia is back with a new love…Portia De Rossi and the two are happy in NYC. Kimber and Matt are parents in Miami and are not in the first two episodes. Liz is still working for McNamara/Troy and still single.
There are lots of changes, but the one thing that is still the same is the surgeries! Just as they have always been they are interesting and bizarre and LA has just as many weirdos as Miami if not more. I can't wait to see how the new locale changes the show, but so far nothing has changed.
Unlike us, this show doesn't age or maybe it is because they have some really good plastic surgeons working on it to keep it so fresh! So tune in to Nip/Tuck tonight at 10p on FX!!!

Viva Viva Laughlin!!!
October 18th, 2007 under CBS, Reviews. [ Comments: 2 ]

I love Viva Laughlin! I love it so much my friends have asked me to stop telling them how much I love it!!!
Viva Laughlin premieres tonight on CBS at 10p before it moves to its regularly scheduled time slot of Sundays at 8p! The show is everything I wanted for Caveman, a show that doesn’t take itself seriously and is a lot of fun! I mean how many shows have the characters breaking out in song with the classic songs playing along with them! Plus it takes place in a Vegas-like town and has all that cheese and glitz that goes with Vegas. Viva Laughlin captures that old Vegas feel (when Vegas was Vegas) and has a plot to match that feel. I seriously can’t wait to see how it all plays out and what songs will play along with them.
LLoyd Owen is great as Ripley, he captures the essence that role needs to be played in. You will see what I mean when you watch. Plus the show also has Eric Winter from Days of our Lives who looks just as sexy now as he did then. (Side note he was also the actor in the Britney Spears’ Curious commercial) The only negative about the show is that Melanie Griffith is in it as Bunny, but oddly enough she actually works in the role!
So please take a chance on this show and help it beat the TV odds and tune into Viva Luaghlin on CBS at 10p tonight and Sunday at 8p! I promise you will have such a good time you will feel like you won the Jackpot!!!

Wait until you see what song Melanie Griffith and Lloyd Owen sing in tonight’s episode!!!

America’s Psychic Challenge premieres tonight on Lifetime at 10p
October 12th, 2007 under Lifetime, Reviews. [ Comments: 4 ]

America’s Psychic Challenge premieres on Lifetime tonight at 10p and it is a reality/game show like we have never seen before!
America’s Psychic Challenge has 16 psychics all competing to win $100,000. The first part of the series has 4 psychics competing head to head and the final 2 with the highest scores of each of the first 4 episodes moves on to the semi-finals. In tonight’s episode the four had to find a living person in one of the rooms of a haunted hospital for the first challenge. The next challenge they had read a celebrity (wait until you see who it is) through a wall and see how much they could identify about the person. The final challenge is help a family find out who murdered their son/brother. It was amazing to watch the different techniques that the psychics used to come to the answer. What is also cool about the show is they give you little challenges to see if you have any psychic ability, I only got one of the three of the answers right. Actually on the second challenge you had to guess where a person was from, I guessed one of the three states they listed on the screen before it appeared but sadly it was not where she was from. I wonder does that still make a little psychic???
So tune into America’s Psychic Challenge tonight at 10p and see if psychics really are psychic and which ones are worth $100,000!!!

Lisa Williams is back to talk to dead tonight on Lifetime at 9p
October 12th, 2007 under Lifetime, Reviews. [ Comments: 2 ]

Lisa Williams: Life Among Dead is back for its second season tonight at 9p on Lifetime.
Tune into Ghost Whisper at 8p and then switch over to Lifetime to watch the real thing. You know how I told you to bring some Kleenex to watch Ghost Whisperer, well you if you have any left you will need them to watch this show. I love this show, but OMG I had tears in my eyes throughout most of the episodes I saw in a good way. She is amazing to watch and she is so right on when she talks to people that she is reading it will blow you away. You can tell that Lisa Williams is such a good soul and she is the right person that was given this power because the way she tells the person she is reading about their loved ones is done with such love and understanding the person walks away feeling good. The show left me wanting to go schedule an appointment with her, but sadly she no longer accepts personal appointments. I might not be able to have my own personal reading, but we can all watch her as she reads others. Seriously you will be amazed how good she is!
So tune into Lifetime tonight at 9p and watch Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead for a feel good show to end your work week.
