A Everybody Loves Raymond reunion
April 14th, 2011 under Ray Romano, Reunions. [ Comments: 1 ]

The cast of Everybody Loves Raymond got together to support the co-creator at the premiere of his new documentary Exporting Raymond. In it Phil Rosenthal tells the story of adapting the hit sitcom in Russia and them not getting his sense of humor. I find that hard to believe because I could see a lot of families having mother like Marie!
Now back to America, isn’t great to see Monica Rosenthal, Patricia Heaton, Ray Romano, Brad Garrett and Doris Roberts all look as close as they did when got to know them on the show almost 15 years ago,

A Welcome Back Kotter reunion!

TV Land said Welcome Back Kotter to Gabe Kaplan and the Sweathogs at their awards show and they look like they were ready for the prom again! Robert Hegyes, Ellen Travolta, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Marcia Strassman, Gabe Kaplan and John Travolta aka Epstein, Mrs Horshack, Freddie “Boom Boom” Washington, Julie, Mr Kotter and Vinnie Barbarino.
Can you believe it has been 35 years go that we got to know all of them because the look just as good as they did, and for some of them they look even better.
Hey TV Land, can you add Welcome Back Kotter to your line up because I am missing that show!
BTW Ron Palillo aka Arnold Horshack was suppose to be there, but reports say he wasn’t feeling well.

A Facts of Life reunion!

Cloris Leachman (84), Mindy Cohn (44), Kim Fields (41), Charlotte Rae (84), Geri Jewell (54), Lisa Whelchel (47) and Nancy McKeon (45) aka Beverly, Natalie, Tootie, Mrs Garrett, Geri, Blair and Jo were reunited at the TV Land Awards. And even though aging should be bad, they all look good and that’s The Facts of their Life! Can you believe that show debuted in 1979 because they look amazing!
As much as I like this group all together again, they are missing some important cast members like Molly Ringwald, George Clooney and my fav Mackenzie Astin..:(

A Stand By Me reunion
March 18th, 2011 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn, Reunions, The Two Coreys. [ Comments: none ]

Twenty-five years ago Rob Reiner made a little film called Stand By Me narrated by Richard Dreyfuss with 4 virtually unknown actors (Wil Wheaton, Jerry O’Connell, Corey Feldman, and the late River Phoenix) and this week the 4 actors stood by the director and got to together to honor that big anniversary.
Can you believe that timeless movie was made in 1984 and how much the cast has changed? Wheaton, 37, is now a blogging visionary, O’Connell, 37, is no longer the fat kid from Stand By Me and Feldman, 39, is now as much a musician as an actor? I wonder if they knew back then that some of what was said at the ending of the movie would kind of mirror how their lives would turn out? Wheaton is the writer, O’Connell has been steadily acting, Feldman had his issues and Phoenix would be the first one to die out of the four?
OK enough sadness, don’t they all look wonderful? I so loved Stand By Me back when I was kid and now again and again as an adult.

A mini-Hanging with Mr Cooper reunion
February 21st, 2011 under Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Holly Robinson Peete and Mark Curry were reunited at the NBA All-star game and the two co-stars look as close at the did when they started working on the show almost 20 years ago. Can you believe The Talk co-host and the comedian are 46 and 49 (respectively) because they look exactly like they when the show ended in 1997.
