Robert Hays just can’t get away from Airplane!
September 2nd, 2014 under Ads, Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Even though it has been almost 35 years since Airplane came out, that isn’t stopping from Robert Hays from playing his most famous character twice this year. First, he resurrected Ted Striker for Sharknado 2 and now he is doing it again for Wisconsin. Unlike the Syfy movie, this time he had some co-stars with him on this flight. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was once again his co-pilot Roger Murdock and there is another surprise fans of the franchise will enjoy!
Thank you Wisconsin for doing this ad, it was anything but cheesy. Or wait, is it supposed to be cheesy, you know, because that is what the state is known for?
Either way, I loved it! Maybe the Zucker Brothers will consider boarding this franchise again?

Mrs Garrett and Blair Warner together again!
June 24th, 2014 under Reunions, The Facts of Life. [ Comments: none ]

Lisa Whelchel shared this picture of Charlotte Rae and her having lunch today, and they look just as close and as happy as they did when they worked on The Facts of Life together 3 decades ago. Can you believe that classic sitcom debuted almost 35, yes 35, years ago? Because they look like they haven’t aged day since they started working at Edna’s Edibles in season 5. Seriously, can you believe that Rae is 88 years young and the Survivor is 51. All I see are the two actresses I grew up idolizing looking just like I remember them. Simply beautiful!
You know since NBC is doing so many remakes, maybe they should consider doing reunion shows too. I’d like to see the Eastland girls, George Clooney, Mackenzie Astin and Cloris Leachman together again. Who’s with me?

Thelma & Louise together again!
June 19th, 2014 under Reunions, Susan Sarandon. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1991, Thelma & Louise took a Seflie that we haven’t forgotten about after all of these years. Today, Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis took another one and we won’t forget about it anytime soon. That’s because even though it has been nearly 25 years since they shot the buddy movie, they actually look better now than they did then. And they were looking pretty near perfect back then. I guess their secret to their youthful appearance is to be sleeping with younger men. I am OK with doing that to keep my young looks like them.
What do you think their secret is?

Whoa, it’s a Blossom reunion!!!
June 16th, 2014 under Joey Lawrence, Mayim Bialik, Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

A few weeks ago we got all excited because the cast of The Wonder Years reunited for the release of their show coming out on DVD, and today the Blossom cast got together to promote their show coming to the Hub Network on July 7th! Seeing Blossom, Joey, Six and Tony together again like that reminds me of the happy felling I got watching the show as a kid. Seriously, don’t Mayim Bialik, Joey Lawrence, Jenna von Oy and Michael Stoyanov look just like they did when we got to know in 1991? Can you believe it has been over 2 decades since that show debuted? And in less than a month we can watch the Russos all over again on Hub! I know I can’t wait to watch that show all over again and again.

A Wonder Years reunion!
May 29th, 2014 under Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

The cast of The Wonder Years reunited yesterday, 21 years after the family sitcom ended. So what brought Fred Savage, Dan Lauria, Alley Mills, Jason Hervey, Olivia d’Abo, Danica McKellar and Josh Saviano together? They were shooting commentary for the upcoming release of their beloved series that is coming out on DVD.
Even though we are only getting the original episodes on home video, tell me I am not the only one who would love to see them do a reunion show that takes place in the ’80s? We can forget all those things that Kevin Arnold said during the series finale and shoot it like those last few seconds never happened? Who’s with me?
