Watch the Charles in Charge cast sing their theme song!
October 30th, 2017 under 80s, Nicole Eggert, Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’80s, everyone was singing the Charles in Charge theme song. Heck even now you can do it, just from your memory because it was so gosh darn catchy. Well what about the cast of the beloved sitcom, can they do it?

This weekend Buddy Lembeck (Willie Aames), Gwendolyn Pierce (Jennifer Runyon) and, Jamie (Nicole Eggert) and Adam Powell (Alexander Polinsky) all got together for a mini-reunion at the Chiller Theater convention in NJ. On the way there, they all sang their theme song and the actors knew each and every word from memory just like you and me. Even though they had not seen each other in years (and for one not having worked with two of them), they still were all in sync as they sang the tune that is stuck in your head now. And hearing them do it makes you feel as happy as you do whenever you hear that song on television.

I have said this before and I will say it again, why doesn’t someone reboot this show. Maybe Adam is hired to babysit Gwendolyn and Buddy’s kids. Since the latter two got married and had kids! I would watch it, wouldn’t you?

Oh Donna, it is a La Bamba reunion!
October 23rd, 2017 under Lou Diamond Phillips, Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Thirty years ago, people feel in love with Ritchie Valens all over again, thanks to the brilliant job that Lou Diamond Phillips did in the bio pic. People fell in love with La Bamba and 3 decades later they are still watching the story about a singer whose life was sadly cut short at the height of his career due to a plane crash.

Over the weekend, Phillips was reunited with his movie brother Esai Morales and movie lover Danielle von Zerneck at The Hollywood Show. Seeing them all together like that makes you want to watch the film all over again. You also wish they could do a sequel, but as we know that is impossible.

When it comes to actors, they all look as good as they did in the 1987 film.

Finally, I have had Oh Donna stuck in my head ever since I saw this photo.

Did Donna Mills hint there’s a Knots Landing reunion in the works?
October 19th, 2017 under 80s, Donna Mills, Reunions. [ Comments: 1 ]

Donna Mills shared a photo with her Knots Landing co-stars, Michelle Lee and Joan Van Ark and said, “Your favorite trio is back together! Exciting things #comingsoon 🎥⚡️.” Does that mean that there are working on a Knots Landing reunion? Or could it be something else? Things that make you go hmmmmmm.

Things that make you go “wow” is that fact that those three ladies are all in the mid-’70’s (76, 75 and 74) and they look just as they did in ’80s when they were doing that primetime Soap Opera we all loved. Scratch that, they all look even better now than they did then. Don’t you agree?

A Family Matters’ reunion!
September 28th, 2017 under Jaleel White, Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Last week it was announced that the Family Matters house is going to be torn down, and this week Entertainment Weekly posted photos of the cast together again. Jo Marie Payton, Reginald VelJohnson, Kellie Shanygne Williams, Darius McCrary, Jaleel White, Telma Hopkins, Shawn Harrison, and Bryton James did a photo shoot for the mag. Even though it has been 19 years since their beloved sitcom ended, they look just as close as they did then. In fact, they look like they are having as just as much as they did when they were all working together.

So much so, I think someone needs to give them reboot ASAP. I would love to spend my Friday nights with the Winslows and Urkel all over again. Just like I did in the ’90s. Would you watch?

A mini-Fame reunion!
July 18th, 2017 under Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Over the weekend, some of the alumni from Fame got together and we got this awesome photo of the trio. Cynthia Gibb, Erica Gimpel and Valerie Landsburg celebrated their 33 year friendship and they look just as close now as they did when they were singing, dancing and acting at their performing arts high school back in the ’80s!

Seriously, don’t they look amazing? Seeing how Holly, Coco and Doris looked like back then above how they look now, you can tell that aged beautifully! They are all quadruple threats, singers, dancers, actors and beauties! Maybe they can do a Fame reunion and they go back to their old school and lecture the new students! Would you watch that? I would!
