Rosario Dawson’s mom really didn’t like tan lines, so much so she she would take her to nude beaches all the time according to OK!.
“My mom took us to a nude beach all the time when I was young. She’d say, ‘I hate tan lines,’ and off our bathing suits would go.”
And her mother’s extrovert nature made Dawson proud of her body.
She adds, “I mean, why should there be any shame or weirdness about something so beautiful and natural?”
I wish I knew where those beaches were when I was a kid.
BTW when I read the story it reminded me when she sang Out Tonight in RENT and if I could find a reason to post something from RENT, I will!!
Wow! One of my favorite songs from RENT is One Song Glory because of Adam Pascal’s voice as he performs it, so it was nice to hear his impression of it! His version blew me away so much I had to share it with y’all.

According to BroadwayWorld RENT will be evicted on June 1st. RENT has been on Broadway for over 12 years and spun-off a big screen version of the 7th longest running Broadway show.
In recent months Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp reprised their roles, no word if any of the other alumni (like Joey Fatone, Frenchie Davis and Drew Lachey) will also come back and do the show one last time but I hope they do!
It will be a sad day on Broadway when RENT finally moves out.
Adam Pascal posted on his MySpace blog that Anthony Rapp and him are returning to Broadway's Rent, "oh by the way anthony and i will be doing rent on broadway for 6 weeks starting july 30." I think I might have to fly to NY to see that again. I just love the way he sings One Song Glory!
