One of Hollywood’s favorite people, Neil Patrick Harris, took to Twitter to bash someone and it quickly became the Tweet heard around the world. he said, “Eric Braeden is a D-Bag. the actor, (Robin’s dad) agreed to a cameo, then last night bailed, saying the part wasn’t ‘substantial’ enough. We’ve recast with Ray Wise, a fantastic actor who makes any part ‘substantial’. Super excited to welcome him to the family!” Major ouch. Now he has two television time periods to think he is a douche, daytime and primetime. Last year he reportedly refused to take the same pay cut that the rest of the cast took and his contract was not renewed. After being off of The Young and the Restless for a few months he eventually returned. I guess the role was substantial enough for him then. Entertainment Weekly spoke with him about NPH’s Tweet and he said, “I really don’t know who that fellow is. He’s a guy who stars in that series,†Braeden told EW, laughing. “It’s very unfortunate. First of all, I came back from hip surgery. I was off for three weeks. I’ve doubled my work, 30 to 50 pages a day for me, alone. Everyone knows that I’m exhausted. I was not about appear on a show for two lines, because that’s what it amounted to.†Two lines is better than no lines and if he can memorize 30-50 pages a day why can’t he remember just two lines?
When it comes to how he feels about the How I Met Your Mother star, he had this to say “the choice of words bothered me. He seems to me like a young whippersnapper who’s received a few awards and is now suffering from the first sign of hubris. I’ve been in the business for 50 years. I’ve seen people come and go and I’m still here.†Braeden laughed. “If he is a worthy adversary, he’d better not cross my path. I will let bygones be bygones.†I think Neil would win because who doesn’t love him, well besides Eric???
After realizing how far his Tweet had gone, the sleep deprived NPH Tweeted “Now I feel bad for the D-bag comment. Don’t know the guy personally. I’m just fiercely protective of our show.” Can’t say I blame him.
After Neil’s Tweet, my favorite came Ralph Macchio who said “@TVGuide @ActuallyNPH @HIMYM_CBS Note to self: when they offer me that HIMYM guest spot — show up, substantially!” Maybe he can play the mother? I am sure there is something for the baby faced actor! He needs his own weekly series because we all need him on our TV sets more often!!!
Before Ralph Macchio was the new kid in school in The Karate Kid, he went to a military school in Up the Academy. He seriously hasn’t aged a day since he was 18 in that 1980 movie.

Some of the original cast members from The Karate Kid movie came out to see the “remake” last night. The original Karate Kid and the Cobra Kai (including William Zabka and Martin Kove) put on their belts and took a chop at the new one.
Here is how Ralph Macchio summarized it in 140 characters on his Twitter, “Remake: Different vibe, story same, bigger, more violent. Well done, but the SOUL, the MAGIC – LEGACY of the Original KK remains untouched!” Since it was done in just 140 characters, I can’t tell if he liked it or not.
BTW I still can’t believe they are calling it remake when minus the fact that it’s about a kid who moved to a new place and is being bullied so he learns how to fight from his landlord, it is nothing like the original.
I will conclude by saying the original cast members look better than the new movie looks. Although they look really good and the new movies like sh!t.

Before Ralph Macchio was waxing on and waxing off for The Karate Kid, he was blowing bubbles for BubbleYum. OMG the 17 year old actor looks exactly the same now as he did back when he did that commercial back in 1979. He sincerely never ages!
The director who is doing the new Karate Kid told OK! Magazine that the original and only Karate Kid Ralph Macchio will not be in his crappy remake.
"It's not the kind of movie where he could do a cameo, but I think he's a great actor," Zwart told OK! on the red carpet of the Pink Panther 2 premiere in NYC on Feb. 3.
Indeed, Zwart says there are going to be some significant changes in the new Karate Kid. "I think with Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan and us going to Beijing and shooting it, it's already different enough," he tells OK!. "I think it's a great story that could easily be retold."
So if it is a different enough, why are they are saying it is a remake of Karate Kid and not just a movie about a kid who does karate? Losers.
BTW all I have to say about the director is he directed Agent Cody Banks and Pink Panther 2…seriously doesn't it say it all…like how sophmorish it is going to be! The only award this movie is going to Wax On is the Razzies and even they are better than this.
