Celebrities get their Curve on
June 1st, 2007 under Dancing with the Stars, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Paris Hilton. [ Comments: none ]

Celebrities came out last night to celebrate the launch of the new BlackBerry Curve from AT&T. The BlackBerry Curve sounds as cool as the celebs that were there last night because it has a 2.0 megapixel camera, a full keyboard, E-mail with spell check capabilities, access to AT&T Music, AT&T Push to Talk and TeleNav Maps.

Paris Hilton nervous about doing time
May 30th, 2007 under Paris Hilton. [ Comments: none ]

A friend of Paris Hilton's told People Magazine that although Paris Hilton looks like everything is fine, she is actually really nervous about going to jail. "Paris hasn't been eating at all and her parents and friends are beyond worried about her. She breaks down crying a lot because she just can't deal with the reality and the pressure of everything that is happening." The source added, "She's been having such a tough time with it all despite her going out with friends and going shopping. She just does that to keep her mind off things and to try and stay as normal as possible right now." Even though she had a Memorial Day party she is beginning to realize who is really there for her, "Her biggest support has been her family – her parents without a doubt. She talks to them a million times a day and they are doing everything they can to make sure that she comes out of this okay.As for her friends, that's been another spot of stress for Paris, She really can't take how most people around her have scattered and distanced themselves." I think it is normal for her to be scared about going to jail, hopefully it will change her for the better. I was hoping some of friends and ex-friends would also take notice that there could be consequences for your actions, but after this weekend we learned that they didn't.

HERES A TIP….
Current mood: HONEST

When you making 8 million dollars a film…..HIRE A DRIVER!!

I've been getting a lot of letters asking my thoughts on recent events, so here it goes…. I know a lot of people think karma is going around and yeah I guess it might be, but to me..this is far from karma, if anything people like Paris love this shit, walking out of a court house to be met by a bevy of paparzzi like princess diana…carrying the bible around…loves it! Karma will be the day she's married and has kids and her husband goes and fucks a 22 yr old and knocks her up. I don't find happiness in others when they are down, but I sure in hell don't feel bad for people who play the victim constantly and are far from it. People who feel it's their job to make people feel beneath them or take opportunities others would die for an shit on them and frankly make a mockery of. So as the penis posse goes down one by one and enters jail or rehab…I don't really think anything of it…they just show me what I always knew and thought they were _________. ( you can fill in the blank)

I hope you are all well and as always thanks for your letters,

Shanna Moakler's MySpace

You know that she is just jealous because they didn't want her in their penis posse. And seriousy when did she deserve the right to be riding on her high horse? She took her divorce to MySpace and had a divorce party that no one attended. She wishes that the paparazzi would follow her, but why would they? She was a no name even when she was a name.

Paris Hilton gets 23 days, 22 taken off for good behavior
May 16th, 2007 under Paris Hilton. [ Comments: none ]

AP is reporting that Paris Hilton's sentence was cut from 45 days to 23 days for good behavior. She will also spend that time in a special needs housing unit away from the general inmate population.
Jail officials gave her credit for good behavior like showing up for her court date as a reason why her sentence was reduced. They probably want her in there as much as we want her out here.
Paris' unit has 12 cells that hold 2 people in each, the unit is reserved for police officers, celebrities and high profile inmates. She will also be let out her cell for an hour each day to shower, watch TV and talk on the phone. How is she going to survive with an hour on the phone daily?

Candy Spelling writes a letter to Paris Hilton
May 13th, 2007 under Aaron/Candy/Tori Spelling, Paris Hilton. [ Comments: none ]

Candy Spelling sent a letter to Paris Hilton via TMZ. I don't understand why Candy keeps sending letters to TMZ and not to the person directly. I guess she will do anything for publicity. Saying that she actually wrote a great letter.

Dear Paris,

As someone who has known you for most of your life, I pay special attention to your press coverage. (Apparently, I'm not alone, based on the responses every word about you creates on TMZ.com and elsewhere.)

Paris, I'm very worried about you. The last week has not only been an obvious roller-coaster for you emotionally, but your strategy went from blaming employees and stating silly excuses like, "I don't read," to your new lawyer's tactic to have you sound mature and take some responsibility. In between, the paparazzi continue to follow you shopping and taking self-defense classes (to protect yourself in jail?), and some over-zealous friends staged embarrassing protests (three people?), and wasted taxpayer funds with a petition to pardon you.

People who are rich and famous are not treated like "regular" people, even though you claim to now be just like everyone else. In most situations, your privileged life works to your benefit. You have opportunities, access and resources like few others; and frankly, you can get away with more bad behavior and excuses than most people could even imagine. However, as the real possibility of jail approaches — whether it's 21 days or 45 or whatever the latest report is — it's time to get real. It's time to find "a Paris" somewhere between "heiress" and a character on "The Simple Life." I know she's there, and I know she can be a good citizen and maturely face consequences other people would have to face under the same circumstances.

I am sorry you have been sentenced to jail. I can't think of too much that would be worse. But since you let this happen, use the next couple of weeks preparing not only by publicly learning to fight (not a good message to fellow inmates), but by looking around, realizing that you are not as truly entitled as your money implies. You are a young woman who can add more to her community than establishing new definitions for infamy.

Best,

Candy Spelling
