So someone created a fake story that Zach Braff had committed suicide and the Scrubs star made a video on Facebook to prove that he is still alive. Gotta love that he had to make a video to prove that he is still with us. The best part is he had Donald Faison sing the version of Wind Beneath My Wings that he wants him to sing at his funeral when he really does die. Even though Zach Braff is still alive, his career not so much.
Last week there was story from Global Associated News was heard all over the world reporting that the Earth Girls Are Easy star Jeff Goldblum had fallen 60′ to his death in New Zealand. His publicist immediately squashed the rumor with a statement saying The Fly did not die and he was still alive. That wasn’t good enough to prove that he wasn’t going through The Big Chill, so he made an appearance on Comedy Central’s Colbert Nation to prove that he would still be around to light fireworks on Independence Day. But by the end of his appearance he accepted the fact that he had gone to the big Jurassic Park in the sky.
Seriously if Jeff Goldblum did more funny stuff like that, I would actually watch his movies and TV shows. So on that note, don’t forget to watch him on USA’s Law & Order: Criminal Intent every Sunday at 9p for his final episodes since he is no longer with us. Oh and he is also filming Morning Glory with Diane Keaton who almost joined him yesterday after an on-set accident.
On a non-Jeff Goldblum note, Stephen Colbert is such a freaking genius!!! How brilliant was that bit?
Finally if you see any stories from Global Associated News about a death of a celebrity dying in some horrific way, don’t believe it because the site allows you to create fakes news stories.
Someone erroneously posted on Sinbad's Wikipedia page that he died of heart attack over the weekend. Sinbad did an interview with AP and to let them he is still alive and kicking. He told them as soon as the news was posted on Wikipedia he started to receive calls, E-Mails and text messages to see if he was still with us. Who knew there were that many people checking out his Wikipedia page to find the fake update. When he was asked about how he felt about the rumor, he said this "It's gonna be more commonplace as the Internet opens up more and more. It's not that strange." Sadly I think he is right, don't you. BTW another update on him is that he is doing a tour with his stand-up if you want to see him (a)live!
So I guess there were rumors going around the net and a few other places that Kiss' Ace Frehley committed suicide, so not true. In fact he is working on a solo album that is due out later this year.
"Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated” Ace Frehley said. “I don’t know how this ridiculous rumor got started,” smiles Ace, as he eats his daily allotment of wheat germ, preparing to jump back on his treadmill.
