Nicki Minaj is following Randy Jackson out American Idol’s door according to Us Weekly. A source told the mag, “She’s okay with it. She had a great time but was only going to do one season anyway.” Can’t say I will miss her because she is the reason why I opted not to watch the show show this year.
It will be interesting to see what American Idol does to redeem themselves next year after this disastrous season. Maybe Fox will consider doing a Dancing with the Stars and a So You Think You Can Dance and cancel the results show.
Curtin Finch Jr was eliminated from American Idol yesterday and when the decision was announced Nicki Minaj said, “I’m done” and tried to walk off. Eventually she sat back down because she tried to convince the other judges to use their save on him and they opted not to. So Ryan Seacrest asked her about that, and she explained that felt she needed more time to convince Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban to vote her way. You can tell that the two men are sick of Nicki’s antics and were like more time wouldn’t have made any difference.
I don’t get why she is so upset that he was voted off when she wasn’t even there to see his performance that led to his elimination. That’s because she was late to the live show the night beforehand.
So will she keep her word and quit the Fox show? We will have to wait until next week to find out, but let’s be real she ain’t going no where.
Yesterday was the first American Idol live show and one of the judges was not there for the start of the show. Nicki Minaj claims she was stuck in traffic and that is why you didn’t see her at the judges table until a 1/3 of the way through on the show.
I am sorry, but there is no excuse for not being there on time. She should’ve been then way earlier for hair and makeup because she looks like she needs it. But not only that you would think she would want to prep for her first live appearance on the Fox singing competition. I thought that working on Idol was a full day’s job during the live shows, so I don’t get why she couldn’t be there by 5p.
Now when it comes to her traffic excuse, I don’t get why she was taking the 405 to get there. Taking that route is really out of the way to get to where they tape Idol.
If I were Idol, I would dock her salary for the day. Try to teach her lesson. Then I would make her apologize tonight during the live show for not respecting the viewers enough to be there on time. Finally and most importantly I would hire her a run down smelly limo and have it pick her up at 12n. This way there’s no excuse why she can’t be down at TV City by 5p.
As much as I would punish her for her tardiness, I am sure Mariah Carey punished her even more than I can dream of. I mean her face says it all. She is so f*cking pissed!
Nicki Minaj is on Ellen today and Ellen DeGeneres asked her about her feud with Mariah Carey. She says that she gave into to rumors that Mimi didn’t want her on the panel and that is why she acted all crazy psycho. Then Ellen asked her she is looking forward to the live shows and she said no. She doesn’t want to come off as a crazy psycho again because she claims she isn’t one. You know she almost has me tempted to find out if she will be one, but not enough.
The other big news from this interview is Nicki can’t handle working an 8 hour day. That is just too much work for her. So in other words people think she is worth millions to be a lazy sh!t. Great role model…not.
BTW am I the only person who keeps forgetting that Ellen was a judge on American Idol for a season?

Nicki Minaj showed up to the AMAs last night wearing a dress that had already graced another Awards show red carpet. Julie Bowen wore the same chartreuse Monique Lhuillier at the Emmys and I think she looked better in it. Although the American Idol judge gave the Modern Family star a run for her money.
Now when it comes to Nicki, don’t you think she would’ve asked had anyone wore the dress before to any major events, before she picked at as her first dress for the night? But then again knowing that Bowen won an Emmy when she wore the gown, maybe she thought it would bring her good luck and help her win an AMA…and it did.
