I don't know about you, but Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon way surpassed my expectations on how long they would last. Can you believe they have been married for 4 and a half months and by the looks of it still going strong.

Latina is reporting that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got married on some island yesterday. It was a spur of the moment decision for the rumored to be recently engaged. I am taking this story with a grain of salt because she recently said that she doesn't plan on getting married any time soon and then wham bam she is married. Plus when did these two start dating, let alone get so serious. No word from their people if the story is true or false. But then again Beyonce and Jay-Z's people never confirmed their marriage. On that note…Hollyscoop is reporting that Beyonce's is pregnant, but then again we all suspected that when she had a small rushed wedding.
UPDATE: E! Online spoke to one of Nick Cannon's relative Linda who said, "Yes, we know," she says. "He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him." Considering they didn't say how Linda is related to him, I am still questioning if the two are really married.

Moviehole is reporting that Columbia is doing a movie based on the '70s sitcom Sanford and Son starring Bernie Mac and Nick Cannon. There are just so many things wrong with that. First Hollywood needs to stop turning sitcoms into movies, only The Brady Bunch movies have worked and the rest have all been painful, ie Bewitched and Dukes of Hazards and Starsky and Hutch and I Spy and … Then to cast both Bernie Mac and Nick Cannon. I have no problem with either one's acting just them acting in this movie. What is next Monique as Esther? I bet you Redd Foxx is rolling over in his grave on this one.
And they wonder why we don't go to the movies as much anymore???

Actor/rapper NICK CANNON is looking for an opportunity to strip in a movie – because he’s more than happy with fans catching a glimpse of his manhood. The DRUMLINE star has made his name in a series of family-friendly films and TV series, but he’d love to go X-rated for a film part. He says, "I wouldn’t just do a porno (film), but I would do it (strip), like, if it needed to be done. "I’ve been an exhibitionist all my life. I have no problem running around nude… I’m pretty good in that department. I never had a complaint or anything like that."
