The first full trailer for Red Notice is out now, and I can’t wait to stream it on Netflix on November 12th.
I normally don’t like Dick Flicks, but the cast is phenomenal. I mean, who does like The Rock, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot. Plus, you know that DJ and Reynolds are going to have a contest to see who can ham it up more for the camera. Who do you think will win?
Good thing that Gadot was in the Israeli Army because she can put both of those boys in their place. That is why she is Wonder Woman, and they are just Deadpool and Black Adam. Yeah, I don’t know what that means either. So put me on Red Notice.
Even though Manifest is one of Netflix’s most watched shows, NBC decided to cancel it.
Ever since it was cancelled fans have been trying to get the Sci-Fi drama picked up by someone else. Something that looked hopeless after Netflix said no. Well, today, it finally happened!
EP Jeff Rake announced that Netflix renewed the show for a 20-episode final season.
While, it did not make it to six seasons like they wanted, it is better than what we had a month ago, which was nothing.
I hope the series ends better than Lost did. We can’t afford another ending like that.
The fourth season of Cobra Kai is set to debut in December, but Netflix is not waiting until then to renew the Emmy-nominated show for another season. The show’s EP Jon Hurwitz announced that it will be back for a 5th season today.
The upcoming season is about them taking their fight to All Valley, so I am assuming the next one will be the ramifications of who wins and who loses. But I am just spitballing.
If you have not seen Cobra Kai, the sequel of The Karate Kid movies, you are missing out on the biggest fan-favorite show out now.
Ever since 1999, we have all enjoyed the teen RomCom She’s All That. Now, 21 years later it is back as He’s All That on Netflix.
Instead of school jock Freddie Prinze, Jr. making over the unpopular Rachel Leigh Cook, it is influencer Addison Rae giving a makeover to the anti-social Tanner Buchanan. It is not the gender swap that makes this movie better than the OG. Instead, there is something that is just so much sweeter and more endearing than the one that came first. It is probably because it is a more lighthearted feature, and there is an innocence to it.
Padgett Sawyer (Rae) has it all. She is popular in school and on social media, she gets good grades, and she has the perfect boyfriend, Jordan.
Jordan (Peyton Meyer) was a scrawny boy until he got a makeover from the Makeover Queen Padgett. Now, he is the most popular boy in school and online with his music videos that show off his super-toned body. So much so, he is recording a new one, and Padgett is going to surprise him on the set of it with her two BFFs, Quinn (Myra Molloy) and Alden (Madison Pettis).
As soon as they get there, they walk into his trailer and find him with another girl. Padgett loses it, and it is all caught live on social media. Not only does she lose followers, but she also loses the endorsement deal that was going to put her through college.
Therefore, she and her BFFs come up with a plan to get both of things back. She is going to make an unpopular boy so popular; he is going to be a Prom King.
Since this is a bet, Quinn and Alden are going to pick the victim, and they pick Cameron Kweller (Tanner Buchanan). He is sort of a loner except for his best friend, Nisha (Annie Jacob). The two of them hang out by themselves, and she watches him take photographs with his late mother’s camera.
Cameron also has a sister, Brin (Isabella Crovetti). She is a sophomore, and she wants to be popular, just like Padgett. Therefore, she won’t even acknowledge her brother at school.
Now that Padgett has her target, it is time for her to work her magic. First, she has to win him over. However, in the process, she finds herself being won over by him.
What happens when he finds out this was all a bet? Will Nisha and Brinn be able to help her get him back?
Will it help that even though she gave him a makeover on the outside, she got one on the inside? I can’t tell you. But I can tell you to stream it now on Netflix.
That and Rachel Leigh Cook plays her mom, who gets to hear Sixpence None the Richer’s Kiss Me. She is not the only one who appears in both movies. Matthew Lillard is back as the Principal. And yes, he has a dance scene. Not as epic as before, but still something that will make you smile.
Just like that movie that makes you smile from the beginning until the end. I enjoyed it so much that I watched it two times in a row. I plan on watching it again this weekend and next Sunday when I donate platelets at the Red Cross.
I know there will be haters. But once they watch it, they will fall in love with the movie and Rae, who did an outstanding job in her debut film. When it comes to Buchanan, I totally didn’t recognize him until after the makeover. And I have watched every episode of Cobra Kai.
The world is a pretty crappy place these days, and we need feel-good things to make us feel better. He’s All That is just what we all need. So sit back, Netflix & Chill to this movie two times because it is just what the doctor prescribed whenever you are feeling down.
The documentary is being described as, “Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed brings us the shockingly untold story of the prolific landscape artist and host of The Joy of Painting. With a keen appreciation for nature, and a kind and gentle demeanor, Bob Ross encouraged everyone he met to embrace their creativity and believe in themselves, becoming a cultural phenomenon along the way. The man who famously said that there were no mistakes – just happy accidents – has brought sheer delight to the world for decades. Beyond the iconic hair, soothing voice and nostalgic paintings lies a mystery that many have yet to discover.”
Will it be as shocking as those trees that the Happy Hippy Painter would add to his paintings? Or is it as beautiful as his masterpieces? We don’t know. But we will find out in eight days.
Is it wrong that I am worried about what we might find out because I love him so much?
