Is Lynda Carter really 72? |

In 1972, Lynda Carter won Miss World USA. And at age 72, she is just as beautiful.
The Wonder Woman wore a floor-length silver Bob Mackie dress that showed off her curves to celebrate being a member of the National Mall’s Honorary National Mall 250 Council.
She said she was serving up looks, and she did! Just like Diana Prince, she never ages!

Martin Short is so funny, his presence makes other people funny |

Last week, some guy wrote an article saying that Martin Short is not funny. And no one agreed with him.
Several comedians and actors came to Short’s defense. Because, as we know, he is naturally hysterical.
In fact, he is so funny that just seeing him can make other people turn into comedians. Case in point. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar ran into the Only Murders in the Building star on a plane, posted a photo, and wrote, “On a flight with someone who lived up (or down) to his name.”
That makes us laugh because even though Short is short, so is almost anyone else who stands next to the 7’2″ tall basketball legend.
But the jokes didn’t stop there. When Wonder Woman, aka Lynda Carter, saw the photo, she wrote to Abdul-Jabbar, “Wait a minute. Aren’t you the co-pilot??” If you don’t get that reference, then you need to watch Airplane ASAP. You have not experienced humor until you have seen that film.
So that clueless asshole who wrote the article, let’s see you make us laugh. Didn’t think you could do it.

Lynda Carter is a wonder woman when responding to who’s the best Wonder Woman |

Lynda Carter is trending on Twitter because a fan asked who is the better Wonder Woman. Is it her or Gal Gadot?
When the actress found out about this, she Tweeted a response. “I see my name is trending today so I’m going to take this opportunity to say,” Carter wrote. “@GalGadot and I are part of a great sisterhood and I am so proud of her. No need to choose one Wonder Woman 😉”
Because she is part of this special sisterhood, there was one more thing the star wanted to add. “Let’s stop pitting women against one another! We can be mentors, friends, sisters…” Amen!
Not only did she play Wonder Woman, but she also embodies the character that made her forever a household name. In a world full of villains, be a Lynda Carter!

It’s Wonder Woman and Bionic Woman! |
May 19th, 2017 under 70s, Lynda Carter. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’70s, little girls all over America looked up to two TV female characters and they were Wonder Woman and Bionic Woman. Yet, Diana Prince and Jamie Sommers only met in the comic books and never on the small screen. Now almost 40 years after that graphic novel series came out, the two women met at Paley Center’s Women in Television Gala.
Even though Lynda Carter and Lindsay Wagner’s shows ended in the late ’70s and they are both in their mid-60’s, they still look like the Superheroes we know them to be. So much so, I don’t know why someone doesn’t turn those comics into a series with them reprising the roles that made them famous. I bet it would be a ratings hit!

Four of the greatest women to ever grace TV in one photo! |
May 18th, 2017 under Lynda Carter, Mariska Hargitay, Queer As Folk, Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, Women In TV were honored at event and we got an epic photo out of it. Law & Order: SVU’s Olivia Benson posed with Wonder Woman, Cagney and Lacey’s Sgt. Christine Cagney and The Good Wife’s Alicia Florrick aka Mariska Hargitay, Lynda Carter, Sharon Gless and Julianna Margulies. If you throw in Queer As Folk’s Debbie Novotny and ER’s Carol Hathaway, they each represent some of television’s most bad ass actresses for every decade since the ’70s. That is beyond impressive just like their careers. Plus, they are all absolutely gorgeous besides all being phenomenally talented.
Don’t you just love this photo?
