One of the best things about being an adult is getting to relive your childhood when your favorite TV shows are brought back to life.
On May 10th, Disney+ is giving The Muppets Mayhem a second chance to Rock’n’Roll! And I can’t wait to watch Animal work his magic on the drums! Who doesn’t love Animal?
The Muppets Mayhem follows The Electric Mayhem Band – Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet – on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora Singh (Lilly Singh), the old-school Muppet band comes face-to-face with the current day music scene as they try to finally record their first studio album.
The series is from Adam F. Goldberg, the man who shared his life story on The Goldbergs. We know how much he loved his childhood heroes, so he is the perfect person to resurrect The Muppets Mayhem.
This is just the beginning of their new programming. Also this Saturday, they will be debuting the special The Substitute Top 10 Wildest Pranks. The hidden camera show, which debuted in January, has celebrities going undercover as the worst substitute teachers. After causing a whole bunch of mayhem, Asher Angel, Cooper Barnes, The Bella Twins, John Cena, Kel Mitchell, NE-YO, Jace Norman, Johnny Orlando, Rico & Raini Rodriguez, Lilly Singh, JoJo Siwa, and Shaun White, each gave the schools a much-needed donation of $25,000. The episode will show never-before-scene moments from their pranks.
Also coming up on Nick, they are adding two new virtual shows to their lineup. Group Chat: The Show will make its debut on May 23rd, and it is a pop culture talk show hosted by Annie LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels. Each week they will talk to other celebrities about the trendiest topics for kids.
On June 13th, we will get to know Game Face, and it is going to be a lot of fun. A panel of celebrities will have to guess which celebrity they are talking to. The mystery guest will be disguised with an animated filter and a voice changer. To make things even funnier for the viewers, they will be able to download and use the filters featured on each episode.
My hat is off to Nick’s President Brian Robbins for giving kids something to enjoy in all of this uncertanity.
Tichina Arnold and Beth Behrs were on A Little Late With Lilly Singh to talk about their show The Neighborhood, and the NBC late night asked them to do some goat yoga. It is simple, while you are doing downward dog, a goat climbs on your back.
Doesn’t it sound like something fun to do? Well for Arnold, it was like being in a Little Shop of Horrors…again.
Not only did she get to try goat yoga, but she also got a taste of hot yoga. That is because one of them peed on her.
I betcha, she is never going to do that again. Hopefully, she will stick her TV husband Cedric the Entertainer after her television neighbor for doing that to her.
