Lil Nas X walked the Met Gala carpet in nothing but jewels, body paint, and loincloth. Because of that, he left very little to the imagination, including his Dolla Sign Slime. And now we know more about him than we did when he was walking down that Old Town Road.
Have you ever wondered what happens if a musician has to go to the bathroom mid-show? What do they do?
If they are Lil Nas X, they stop the show, go backstage, pull down their pants and underwear, and then tell the audience that they are “taking a big shit.”
Lil Nas X got his very own wax figure at the Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. So when it was done, the singer had to see it in person. And now I don’t know which one is the real thing and which one is the life-size canceled because the museum did such an excellent job cloning him. Can you tell them apart?
If someone’s pants rip, it is funny. Saturday Night Live wants you to laugh with them, so they would love it if that happened to one of the talent during the show. However, they would prefer it be someone doing it during a skit and not during a musical performance. Since it is live TV, you cannot control when it happens. Unfortunately, for the NBC show and Lil Nas X, it happened during his performance of Montero (Call Me By Your Name).
The singer wore tight pants and snaked his way down a stripper’s pole. When he was coming up, he realized he was about to show as much as a stripper. So he used his hand to cover the tear. Then for the next 40 seconds, he had a microphone in both hands.
It is moments like this that make SNL great. Too bad they are not the ones they were planning for.
When it comes to Nas, he wrote, “i know i do a lot of planned shit but ripping my pants on live television is not one of them.” Then he explained, “at first i was afraid to even perform. then we rehearsed for 2 weeks, then all of the dancers got removed because one had covid and new ones had to learn the routine in 24 hours, and then i ended up ripping my pants and couldn’t finish. everything happens for a reason tho lolWhite heart.”
Up until he was the funniest part of the show, he gave one hell of a performance. He might not want to be remembered for what happened, but at least we remember he did the show. Who was the musical guest the week beforehand? See, we will remember him because of it.
This Friday the 13th, Lil Nas X has a new single coming up. It is going to be so huge that he released a trailer for the song. In the preview for Holiday, he goes back in time via time-traveling horse and transforms into Santa Claus.
After he goes back to the future, Marty McFly has some brilliant words of advice for him. They are, “Whatever you do, Nas. Don’t go to 2020!” Wiser words have never been spoken to a time traveler.
If only someone told Bill & Ted not to release their movie this year, then maybe it would have gotten the fanfare it deserved.
When it comes to Holiday, it better be as good as his use of Michael J. Fox.
