I’m so excited for The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story telemovie!
June 19th, 2014 under Lifetime, Saved by the Bell/City Guys. [ Comments: none ]

On September 1st, Lifetime is going to air The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story and I am Jessie Spano excited for it.
The telemovie is a behind the scenes look about how 6 teens went from no names to household names almost overnight. So how do you experience the high life while being told to be good? That is what this movie is going to tell us.
Now before you start playing the casting game, the movie that has being filmed right now has already been cast. Here is what Lifetime said about that:

With casting by the original series’ casting director, Robin Lippin (Lizzie McGuire), Dylan Everett (Degrassi: The Next Generation) is set to play Mark-Paul Gosselaar in the role of mischievous ringleader “Zack Morris.” Sam Kindseth (Shameless) is Dustin Diamond, everyone’s favorite geek and loveable sidekick “Screech.” Julian Works (Paranormal Activity, Modern Family) fills the shoes of superstar Mario Lopez as the hunky jock “A.C. Slater.” Alyssa Lynch (The High Jumping Witch) plays the role of America’s favorite sweetheart, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, who originated the part of Kelly Kapowski. Tiera Skovbye (Supernatural, Girl in Progress) takes on the role of talented beauty Elizabeth Berkley and her beloved character “Jessie Sapano.” Rounding out the cast is Taylor Russell McKenzie (Blink) who will portray Lark Voorhies and her on-screen persona, the privileged “Lisa Turtle.”

So what are you doing on September 1st, probably the same thing I am doing, watching The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story.

Charlene Tilton & Mayim Bialik are Totally Tracked Down, Little Women LA gets a big start!
May 27th, 2014 under Lifetime, Mayim Bialik, Reelz. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 12:30a on Reelz! Charlene Tilton & Mayim Bialik are Totally Tracked Down by Marshall Jay Kaplan.
At 12:30a Kaplan flies to LA to find Blossom and he talks to Don Reo, the creator of the show. When he can’t help him, he goes to UCLA where she studied and talks to a teacher and the Rabbi at Hillel. The Rabbi sends him to her parents and when he talks to them, a surprise guest shows up. He finally meets Mayim but she only has a few seconds to talk to him. So they make a date and back in 2010, he finds out that she wants to get back into acting. So he researches to see if it is a possibility and he finds out that it will be hard for a former-child star. As we know, it was not for her. So tune in to see what that agent says and what all the other people had to say about Mayim Bialik!
Then at 1a, it is time for Kaplan to try to find Charlene Tilton from Dallas. First he talks to Dallas producer and writer, David Jacobs. When he can’t help him, he goes to her TV husband, Leigh McCloskey, but he too cannot help him, so he refers him to Charlene’s real daughter. Cherish Lee, reveals some things about her mother that happened after the show ended and you don’t want to miss that. Eventually he meets up with Tilton at an Oscar party and meets one of her Dallas co-stars. Can you guess who? Since their time is short there, Tilton agrees to meet at a later date and he has an instant connection with his childhood crush. How instant, you just have to tune in.

Then at 9p over at Lifetime, Little Women LA, makes its big debut. The reality show follows 6 female friends who are under 5′. These little women are just like us. When they get together they have fun and they also fight.
Briana is recently divorced and she is ready to date again. And what better second date can a girl have but at her divorce party. Christy on the other hand is in a serious relationship, and she is ready to get engaged but he is not. Her boyfriend, Todd, also dated Briana, and that will lead to some conflict between the two ladies, Christy, also has problems with the very religious Traci. Traci is recently engaged, but has yet to set a date. She can’t stand Christy’s wilder ways. Terra is the peacemaker in the group. Well with everyone except Elena, who is the youngest and tallest one in the group. Her problem with Terra is she let’s herself be described as the M word, and that is a bad word to the ladies. Finally there is Tonya, and she has a normal sized older daughter who is her best friend. Well besides the five other ladies.
What these 6 women are missing in inches, they make up with big personalities. So tune in for a show that people of all sizes can enjoy.

Flowers in the Attic continues tonight with Petals on the Wind
May 26th, 2014 under Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on Lifetime, Petals on the Wind makes it debut and you don’t want to miss this haunting sequel to Flowers in the Attic.
The telemovie takes place 10 years after the first one. The man who took in the three flowers, has just died and now they are on their own again. Cathy (Rose McIver) is grown and preparing to be a ballet dancer. She has fallen in love with another ballet dancer, Julian (Will Kemp), and they head to NY to become stars. He is not as nice as he seems and he abuses her. She keeps this abuse a secret.
Her brother, Christopher (Wyatt Nash), is in medical school and he is almost done. When Cathy moves to NYC, she tells him to move on from their relationship and eventually he does.
Meanwhile, Carrie (Bailey Buntain), is in high school and she is being bullied. Eventually she leaves her school to move in with Cathy. One night, when Christopher visits, he witnesses something that will change all of the siblings lives.
And whatever happened to their evil grandmother and wicked mother? They are still living in Foxworth Hall. Olivia (Ellen Burstyn), in ill health and Corrine (Heather Graham) is taking care of her. Corrine is still married to Bart (Dylan Bruce) and he still doesn’t know anything about her past.
But that is soon going to change because her children are going to finally get revenge on the women that held them captive for two years and killed their baby brother. You don’t want to miss what happens next. So make sure to watch the chilling sequel tonight on Lifetime.
Petals is just as good as the first movie, if not better. I found this movie held my interest even more than the first movie and I loved Flowers in the Attic. Just like the last movie, Heather Graham is once again the best part of the film.

Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller is going to judge on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars
May 1st, 2014 under Dance Moms, Dancing with the Stars, Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

Dancing with the Stars has been using guest judges, like Donny Osmond and Julianne Hough, on the ABC show this season and on Monday they are hitting a big fat low. That’s because Dance Moms screaming dance teacher, Abby Lee Miller, is going to be sitting along side Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman.
Hopefully they can find a table big enough to fit her huge ego. Something I am sure that will shrink as the episode goes on because two of the pros, Mark Ballas and Derek Hough, have already spoken out negatively against, what they say is, her abusive teaching style. I am sure they are not going to take her seriously and will bite her head off like she allegedly tried to bite Kelly’s finger off last year, if she says the wrong thing to her. I am also sure that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will also give her grief if she says some thing nasty to him. This is not Lifetime, so they are not going to kiss her a$$.
I am going to tune in just to watch her eat some humble pie, unlike, well you know where I am going…
Now while I know who she is, I am sure most of the DWTS viewers do not. I don’t think they are going to like her aggressive ways and loud raspy voice. I mean, she is the first unknown to sit at the judges table since the show started and with all the horrible changes they have made this season, the loyal viewers might say enough is enough.
Seriously, why are they going with her? There are so many other former-DWTS contenders who would love the opportunity that Donny Osmond had. I even read a rumor that his sister, Marie wanted to be a guest judge.
Oh well, it is things like this that make me so happy I gave up this show a few seasons ago. It also makes me feel really embarrassed to admit that I still watch Dance Moms. I wish I could quit that show too. Please help me!
