We are used to seeing Lauren Ash as a tomboy on shows like Superstore and Super Fun Night, but she is copletely different when the cameras are not rolling. While she barely wears any makeup on the shows, she does so in real life.
A Book Of captured that side of her for their magazine and that is not the Dina we are used to seeing every Thursday night. She looks like a completely different person. She is beautiful either way, but it is nice to see a different side of the funny actress.
Before Lauren Ash hid her sexiness on Superstore, she let it shine through on Sketch with Kevin McDonald. How gorgeous was the 23-year-old on that 2006 variety show?
Lauren Ash told Conan O’Brien on his TBS late night show the other night that when she was 12 years old, her mom played a prank on her that still haunts her to this day. Ash’s mom said she was going out and going to leave her daughter alone for the first time. Shortly after mom left, she took a shower. Then she heard something and started to call for her mom. Eventually, when she got out of the shower, her mom jumped out and scared her. Ash screamed, cried and peed a lot all at the same because she scared peeless.
For decades, she has wondered how she could get back at her mom and she finally found a way after 23 years. Ash’s character on Superstore is pregnant and the actress wears a realistic baby bump so that viewers will think she is the one with child and not America Ferrera. Which they have been doing a great job at hiding.
Anyways, Ash sent her mom a photo of herself wearing the prosthetic belly, told her mom that was really pregnant and her ex-boyfriend is the father. Her mom freaked out and texted her. Ash ignored her. Then she tried calling, the same thing. Eventually, she picked up the phone and spoke to her hysterical mom. Did her mom forgive her? Once she knew why her daughter did, she understood.
That is why they revenge is sweet. What is also sweet is that Ash wrote tonight’s episode of Superstore on NBC at 8p. Let’s see if she is as good at writing as she is as playing the uptight Dina. Something I am pretty sure she will succeed in doing.
I do not know about you, but I really do not understand how health care works. But thanks to tonight’s Superstore at 8p on NBC, I now have a better understanding of it.
During an office meeting, Mateo (Nico Santos) is moaning in pain and he tells his coworkers that he has an ear infection. That is when they all give him wild home remedies to try out. When someone asks him why doesn’t he just go to a doctor, they tell her that they have crappy health insurance and they cannot afford to go.
That is when Jonah (Ben Feldman) and Amy (America Ferrera) come up with an internal health plan so that everyone can go to the doctor and finally get looked at. Only problem is, people like Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi) have so many health issues that now they need to figure how to accommodate those with pre existing conditions and those without. By the end of the episode, you will think that every member of Congress, Senate and the President will need to watch to episode because it is health care made for Dummies!
That and they might enjoy when Glen (Mark McKinney) asks Dina (Lauren Ash) to look at a mole one his body to see if it looks cancerous. Sounds simple, but the mole is in a hard location. If you get what I mean.
After months of being pissed off about health care, it is nice to finally be able to laugh about it.

Then at 8:30p, The Good Place is turning into an interesting place because of Derek (Jason Mantzoukas). If you remember last week, Janet (D’Arcy Carden) created Derek to get over Jason (Manny Jacinto). She is not still not over being married to him several hundred reboots ago and he does not even remember ever being married to her because Michael (Ted Danson) has wiped his memory clean a few hundred of times.
Jason has moved on with his soul mate Tahani (Jameela Jamil), so much so they want to get married. What will Michael do? Janet’s little experiment is causing problems, and they are problems he cannot afford. How will he help out his friend, so that she can happy and doesn’t destroy his Good Place with glitches?
All of that leads to an oh fork moment at the end you do not want to miss on this brilliant show you should be watching. It is so much fun and who does not need fun on a Thursday night?

Then at 9p, it is time for Will & Grace. Will (Eric McCormack) & Grace (Debra Messing) & Jack (Sean Hayes) & Karen (Megan Mullally) get some news that will change all of them forever. But since they are such great friends, they are always there for each other when they really need them. Since NBC did not spoil what it is this time like they did for the Grandpa Jack episode, I won’t either. All I will tell you is that Jack does a dance number that will be tomorrow’s GIF.
Also when NBC says it is a must see event, they mean it. It is one that no fan of the show will want to miss. Thus, don’t miss it! I am so happy that NBC got this revival right. It could have gone so wrong but it has remained true to the original run.
Tonight at 8:30p on NBC’s Superstore, Cloud 9 faces a problem they never dealt with before. Not which 6 employees will be fired, but a tornado warning that becomes more of a reality.
Glenn (Mark McKinney) is tasked with firing six employees and everyone wants to know who it will be. Dina (Lauren Ash) and Amy (America Ferrera) try to help him, but he doesn’t want to get rid of anyone. Just as he finally announce his six, he is saved by the alarm. A tornado is coming their way and now they need to bunker down. Their friendships will be tested and things will never be the same between them. Who will survive? Will it be Dina? Amy? Will it be Jonah (Ben Feldman)? Will it be Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom )? Will it be Matteo (Nico Santos)? Will it be Garrett (Colton Dunn)?
To find out who will survive the layoffs and the tornado, you will just have to tune into this game changing season finale episode that gives a whole new meaning to cliffhanger.
At 8p on Fox, the cooks on MasterChef Junior get some special guests in the kitchen. Miss Piggy and the Swedish Chef are there to help out. Well Miss Piggy cooks as the Swedish Chef judges the contestants. All leading to shocking elimination that no one will see coming. Get the tissues ready because you will laugh so hard there will be tears in your eyes and then you will have tears in your eyes from crying during the elimination. But don’t you always? That is why we love this show!
