Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Let’s be honest. The best part of the Thanksgiving meal is the pies. What would make them even better? If they were donuts!

Guess what? This year, that is exactly what Krispy Kreme is doing with four new pienuts!

• Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut: an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with chocolate buttercreme and chocolate curls.
• Lemon Creme Pie Doughnut: an unglazed shell doughnut filled with lemon pie filling, dipped in lemon yellow icing and graham crunch, topped with meringue buttercreme dollop.
• Blueberry Crisp Doughnut: an unglazed shell doughnut with blueberry filling, dipped in blueberry icing and streusel topping.
• Apple Crumble Doughnut: an unglazed shell doughnut with apple pie filling, topped with pie crust buttercreme and cinnamon cookie crumb topping.

“There’s nothing more meaningful and traditional than spending time around the table with those we love this time of year. Our new Thanksgiving Pies Doughnut Collection was created with that in mind to help bring people together and sweeten the season of sharing joy and gratitude,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme.

So, the other day, my Citizen app went off and said there was a robbery at the Lowe’s in Burbank. However, I didn’t follow up to see what happened. Now, I know what happened.

Rob Lowe went there to find out, “How many Lowe’s can Rob Lowe rob if Rob Lowe could rob Lowe’s?”

What did he learn? It takes just one!

I hope that with all of that money he just stole, he went to Krispy Kreme and got some Ghostbuster donuts. I mean, he might as well get a reward for answering that age-old question.

It is the Halloween season, and Krispy Kreme is getting into the spirit with Ghostbusters-themed donuts. In honor of the movie’s 40th anniversary, the donut shop created four specialized donuts and a drink, which will be available for a limited time starting today.

• Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut made with OREO® – an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with OREO® pieces, a dollop of buttercreme with OREO® and a No Ghost logo candy.
• Slimer Doughnut – an unglazed doughnut filled with lemon flavored green filling, dipped in purple and green icing with a Slimer candy.
• Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in orange colored icing and sprinkled with neon sprinkles.
• Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart – Original Glazed® Doughnut Dots with powdered topping, topped with marshmallow flavored buttercreme and a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man candy.
•  Slimer’s Slime-ade – a signature ectoplasm green.

It still feels like Summer, but that isn’t stopping Krispy Kreme from releasing their Fall menu, which includes three new donuts for the season.

• NEW Maple Buttercreme Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut topped with maple flavored buttercreme and fall sprinkles.
• NEW Oatmeal KREME™ Pie Doughnut – an unglazed doughnut with white KREME™ filling, dipped in cookie dough icing and streusel topping, with a dollop of white KREME™ and a bite sized oatmeal cookie.
• NEW Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut topped with a swirl of cream cheese buttercream and dulce de leche flavored filling, sprinkled with salted caramel flavored crunch.
• Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut – A cinnamon sugar doughnut filled with spiced apple filling.

Fall isn’t fall without pumpkin spice, so two of the items they introduced last month are staying around a little longer. They are Pumpkin Spice flavored Cake Doughnut, and Pumpkin Spice flavored Latte.

Don’t wait too long to try them because Winter is just around the corner, and these are only around for a limited time.

It might only be mid-August and hot as hell out there, but it is not too early to celebrate Pumpkin Spice season. So Krispy Kreme officially launched it today.

“It’s August and we’re all ready for pumpkin spice, somehow. So, we’re bringing back the classics you’re craving,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Global Chief Brand Officer. “Our fans want their Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Latte right now, and we’re here for it. Stay tuned though, we’re not done spicing up the season.”

I can’t wait to see what else they will be offering because this is my favorite time of the year. It’s Halloween and Pumpkin Spice time!
