Ken Jeong knows how to make an entrance!

Ken Jeong was on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday and he made an entrance for the books! We know that can act, tell jokes and be a doctor, but did you know he can also dance. He is so smooth, someone should give him his own dancing show. You know what, since Dr Ken is on ABC and American Bandstand was on that network too, how about bringing it back and having him host it? I would watch.

Talking about Dr Ken, if you watch the show, then you know his real life daughter Zoe was on the comedy dating his TV son. On last week’s episode, the two broke up and that was her last episode. What happened? Jeong asked his offspring if she wanted off of the show and she said yes. So he sprang her, but don’t expect to see her acting again because he has blackballed her. As a father he was proud of her, but as a producer he is pissed. Can’t say I blame him because she was good.

Also talking about the sitcom, tomorrow’s episode at 8:30p is a special one. Eight year’s ago the actor’s wife beat breast cancer and on tomorrow’s show his TV wife discovers she has a lump in her breast. He co-wrote the episode, so expect it to be a very well-done emotional one. Expect some laughs, some tears and a whole lot of heart all while telling a very important story from his own personal life.

Jessica Alba got James Corden and Ken Jeong to kiss
December 1st, 2016 under James Corden, Jessica Alba, Ken Jeong. [ Comments: none ]

Jessica Alba and Ken Jeong were on The Late Late Show yesterday and the actress got the two men to try on her lipstick. First she put it on the CBS late night host, then she did it to Dr Ken. When she was done, she found some mistletoe and the men shared a sweet kiss.
And ladies and gentlemen that is what the holiday is all about.

Is what Ken Jeong did safe for daytime television?
September 21st, 2016 under Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Ken Jeong. [ Comments: none ]

Ken Jeong knows how to make entrance and he really made an entrance on today’s Live with Kelly.
It was so spectacular that he got a phone number from a woman in the audience that he danced with. But it was no ordinary dance, it was the type of moves they ban at high school dances. Which is why he got those lady’s digits.
While he has some really cool moves, thankful his hilarious sitcom is not on the move. Dr Ken is back on ABC this Friday at 8:30p and that is something to dance about.

ABC closes the book on Castle and The Muppets!!!
May 12th, 2016 under Galavant, Ken Jeong, Nathan Fillion, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

Somewhere Stana Katic is doing a happy dance! Just weeks after she was fired from Castle, ABC cancelled the show!
My theory is ABC was paying attention to the online chatter about people despising the idea of the show going on without Beckett, and realized it wasn’t worth bringing it back. That and the pitch for next season must’ve been awful. I mean they just renewed the contracts of Nathan Fillion, Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever in the last few days, so they were seriously thinking of bringing it back. But at the last minute they said no to renewing one of their highest rated scripted shows. Something had to happen to make them change their minds so suddenly.
So I guess you can say the show is called Castle, but it can’t just go on with just Fillion. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Am I sad to see this show go? Not at all. The last few seasons have been horrible with this one being the worst by far. Thus, I am happy to say goodbye to this procedural this Monday night.
Team Stana!

UPDATE: ABC also cancelled the very disappointing The Muppets. Synergy couldn’t save the comedy and I am happy it didn’t. It was just The Muppets without any heart. Without that they were destroying everything they were built on. So good riddance. That and how dare they break up Kermit and Miss Piggy.

UPDATE 2: TV Line is reporting that Castle filed an alternate ending in case it got cancelled.

UPDATE 3: The fat lady sang because Galavant was cancelled. I loved that show. Even though I knew it was going to get cancelled, it still breaks my heart it won’t be back.

UPDATE: ABC picked up Dr Ken for a second season. This show didn’t have the best pilot, but every episode since then has been really funny. They learned how to write for the full cast and they all deliver brilliantly.

What happens when Dr Ken cares about a patient?
March 11th, 2016 under Ken Jeong. [ Comments: none ]

We have seen Dr Ken not be so nice to his patients on the episodes past, but tonight at 8:30p on ABC we see what happens when there is a patient he actually cares about.
Ever since Dr Ken (Ken Jeong) has been a kid, he has idolized his favorite comedian Dicky Wexler (George Wyner). Now, not only is he a fan, he is also his doctor. Which has it positives and negatives for both of them. Wexler has cancer and before he can do a show, he needs a doctor’s note. Wexler asks Dr Ken for that note and he agrees to do that for his idol. What the doctor doesn’t know is that his patient is a lot sicker than he thought and winds up in the hospital.
When it is time for Wexler’s show, Dr Ken agrees to sign him out because he doesn’t want to disappoint the man he has looked up to for ever. Then when Dr Julie (Kate Simses) asks Dr Ken if he would do the same for any other patient, he says no. Now he has to make a decision about what to do.
Does he act like a doctor or a fan? It will be a tough decision that will leave tears in your eyes. So have the tissues ready for an episode that is the perfect mix of laughs and tears.
