Kelly Clarkson has been hiding something, and during a concert tonight in LA she accidentally revealed her secret. After an unusually emotional performance of one of her songs, she blurted out, “I’m pregnant!” Realizing what she did, she told the cheering audience, “I want to apologize to my husband, but that was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or something. I just honestly so hormonal today.” Then she added, “Nothing is wrong, everything is great. It’s whoop, whoop.” She ended her surprise announcement, to all, with, “I haven’t vomited yet! That’s a win y’all.” It is things like this, that even if she wasn’t the original American Idol, she would still be the original American Idol.
This is her second child with husband, Brandon Blackstock. Together they have a 14 month old daughter, River Rose, who I bet can’t wait to meet her baby sister or brother sometime around the new year.
Kelly Clarkson was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late show gave her an assignment to do. They asked her to sing Tinder profiles. As we know, the original American Idol has an amazing way of making covers her own, and now we are learning she can do the same with dating profiles. Heck, she is so good, I even want to date the guy with the foot fetish.
I wonder how much it would cost to have her sing my dating profile because I need all the help I can get. I just wish my cat didn’t freak out when she heard Clarkson’s high notes.

Kelly Clarkson was performing in Minneapolis yesterday and she covered a song from the city’s biggest star. It rained purple as she made Prince’s Purple Rain her own. When she was done, the audience made it rain with applauds. Which they needed to do.
I’ll be honest, I always hated that song. That is no longer the case because the original American Idol made me change my mind. Wow, just wow!
Maybe next time, she will go crazy in Minnesota and sing Let’s Go Crazy!
Finally, I don’t know why she was so nervous singing that song. If TAFKAP were there, he would’ve bowed down to her like we all did.

Last week, Kelly Clarkson made a joke that she has a problem finding a duet partner. Well Jimmy Fallon took her seriously and he decided to be the Kenny Rogers to her Dolly Parton or the Sonny Bono to her Cher. Yesterday, when she was on The Tonight Show, the two of them did not sing just one classic song from a duo. Instead they mashed up several duets to make one of the greatest duets of all time.
I say one of because there were two of the biggest duets missing from theirs. Those chart toppers are Ike & Tina Turner’s Proud Mary and Meat Loaf’s Paradise in the Dashboard Light. Who hasn’t sung the last song at a bar with a guy they just met there or with all of their drunk friends? I can’t remember a time in college when I didn’t. Can you?
Forgetting that, how rockin’ their duet? So much so, I hope they release an album full of duets called From Jimmy To Kelly!!!
Just over a week ago Kelly Clarkson gave birth to her first child and today she shared a picture of her. The little girl is as beautiful as her name, River Rose.
Granted it helps that the photo looks a lot like something Anne Geddes would take. But then again, RR looks just like her mom and that makes her beautiful in her own right. Hopefully she inherited her mother’s singing voice.
