Sweethearts accommodates their sayings for the economy |

Everything is more expensive this year, so people don’t have the money to buy expensive candies for their loved ones, who share the cost of everything.
Sweethearts understands that. So they have created, reasonably priced candies, that are fitting for 2026’s Valentine’s Day.
The Love In This Economy hearts have phrases like, “SPLIT RENT, SHARE LOGN, CAR POOL, BUY N BULK, and COOK FOR 2.”
“Sweethearts has always evolved with the times by staying aware of current dating trends and relationships — and being practical is having a moment,” said Evan Brock, vice president of marketing for Spangler Candy Company, the maker of Sweethearts. “That’s why some of the messages on our Sweethearts candies aren’t just about finding love the old-fashioned way this year.”
Therefore, there are still hearts that read things such as “CUTIE PIE, LOVE BUG, and MARRY ME.”

Reese’s Puffs debuts its first new flavor |

Believe it or not, Reese’s Puffs have had the same milk chocolate and peanut butter flavors since it launched in 1994. While they have changed up the shapes and sizes, the flavor has been the same.
But now they have gone to the dark side, not as in Darth Vader, but as in dark chocolate.
“We’ve seen how much people enjoy Reese’s Puffs outside the morning routine, especially late night, and dark chocolate continues to grow within the Reese’s portfolio,” said Megan Brooks, Business Unit Director at General Mills. “Reese’s Puffs Dark Chocolate Naturally Flavored brings that deeper chocolate flavor to a cereal experience people already know and enjoy, any time of day.”
Since I prefer dark and I love their cereal, I will be running to the store to try a box because it is available at retailers nationwide.

Heinz came up with perfect solution for leftover gravy! |

Let’s be honest, after Thanksgiving, we are left with lots of leftovers. Because of that, we spend the following week coming up with creative ways of eating all of that turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, and so on. And we have places to store all of those things.
However, there is one thing that is not easy to store. What is it? Gravy!
Well, during Thanksgivings past, that was the case. Not anymore. Heinz has released the first-ever squeezable bottle for HEINZ Homestyle Turkey Gravy.
“While HEINZ Gravy has always been a fan favorite on the Thanksgiving table, we decided to focus our attention on the day after ritual—because we all know leftovers are the best part and our unmistakably rich and smooth gravy makes them that much better,” said Jamie Mack, Associate Director of Brand Communications for HEINZ U.S. “A social media favorite among millennial sitcom-lovers, the Moist Maker epitomized an obsession with holiday food crafted with care and detail. Now, HEINZ is celebrating the fans who share an irrational love of the nostalgic sandwich by providing the key to a delicious day-after sandwich: HEINZ Leftover Gravy.”
The limited-edition HEINZ Leftover Gravy Kit, which includes a squeezable bottle and a 12-ounce jar of gravy, is available at Walmart.com for $1.88. You read that right!

I don’t know about you, but I love candy canes. I just hate opening them because the plastic wrapper always gets stuck to them, and then I am sucking on plastic instead of peppermint sweetness.
You would think that after nearly 200 years, someone would have come up with a solution to that problem. And someone finally has!
On November 17th at 7p ET, Brach will be selling the Brach’s Cane Opener for $5!!! And did I mention it comes with a box of candy canes to test out the gadget of the year?
To use the plastic peeler, “insert the straight end of the candy cane, remove the cane, and enjoy.” And as an added bonus, it doubles as a Christmas ornament.
“For more than a century, BRACH’S Candy Canes have been a beloved part of holiday traditions – from decorating trees to stirring in hot cocoa,” said Kelly Peyser, Director of BRACH’S and Seasonal Marketing at Ferrara Candy Company. “More importantly, we know that consumers love the taste of our BRACH’s Candy Canes, but we know the struggle is real when it comes to opening them. That’s why we created a fun, limited-edition solution that makes unwrapping the holiday treat faster and easier than ever.”
The Cane Opener will only be available while supplies last, so don’t wait too long to buy one.
Now, if someone can come up with a thingy so that your hands do not get all sticky when you suck on one.
