Would you use Coffee Mate cream that tastes bagel and cream cheese? |

In New York, a lot of people wake up and drink coffee while eating a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast. What if you could combine them and eat two foods with one drink?
Well, you can, sort of. Coffee Mate created a creamer that tastes like the breakfast of New Yorkers. Actually, they say it has “notes reflecting cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and a slightly savory hint of bagel in every sip.”
Would you add that to your coffee? If you would, you only have one more chance to get it. That is because you have to win it. So set your clock alarms for September 3oth at 10a EST for your chance to have a bottle sent to you.
Since I am a confused New Yawker who is not a fan of bagels, you can have my entry.

It is 104 days until Christmas, so I am not even thinking about candy for the holiday.
That is me. It is not Archie McPhee. Today, they announced their latest candy cane flavors. They are Jalapeno and Big Foot. What does Big Foot taste like on your tongue? According to the candy shop, it tastes like pine. Now, I want to know what pine tastes like.
The two new canes are joining their other flavored suckers like gravy, possum, hot dog, and bacon!

Ever since we were kids, Tootsie Rolls have been a big part of the Halloween season. Do you ever remember going trick-or-treating and not getting at least one of the chewy candy?
Therefore, it makes sense that Tootsie Roll would get into the Fall flavor business. So this year, they are releasing a bag of Harvest Chews that are filled with candies that taste like Pumpkin Spice, Caramel Apple, Sweet Cinnamon, and Candy Corn. They had me at Pumpkin Spice but lost me at Candy Corn.
Are you going to run out and buy a bag? Then, you can give the trick-or-treaters the flavors you don’t like! Tis the season to dump the candy you don’t like on unsuspecting Elsas and Harry Potter.

Oreo and Coca-Cola team up for cookies and a cola |

Have you ever eaten Oreo cookies with Coca-Cola and wished they could be combined into one snack? Well, on September 9th, that is going to happen.
The classic chocolate cookie half has been kicked up with the addition of Coca-Cola syrup and popping candies to simulate the fizz of carbonated soda, while the other half is a Golden Oreo that’s been given a Coke-inspired makeover. Sandwiched between them is Oreo’s original white creme. Instead of milk, you can dip them in an Oreo-flavored Coke Zero.
“Bringing together the playfulness of Oreo and the real magic of Coca-Cola is unexpected, but also feels right because our brands are alike in so many ways,” Oana Vlad, Coca-Cola Company’s Global vice president of Brand Strategy, said in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “As a first-of-its-kind collaboration for both brands, we are thrilled for besties around the world to join us in celebrating new products, great experiences and unexpected moments of connection.”
I have not bought a limited edition Oreo in a really long time, but I cannot wait to try these! Don’t they sound divine?

Deadpool and Wolverine go Heinz ketchup and mustard |

A few weeks ago, I wondered why no condiment company teamed up with Deadpool and Wolverine to turn the unlikely superhero into ketchup and mustard. And I guess Heinz read my mind because that is what they are doing.
“After seeing the conversation on social media highlighting the similarities between our two iconic duos – Deadpool & Wolverine and HEINZ Ketchup & Mustard – we knew we had to team up with the film,” says Lizzy Goodman, Brand Communications Manager for HEINZ U.S. at The Kraft Heinz Company. “Once we made that connection – we couldn’t unsee it – as these similarities go beyond color. One’s sweet, one’s zesty. Everybody has a favorite, but really, they’re better together. And most importantly, whether at the movie theater or a cookout, both duos play starring roles in an epic summer.”
A limited amount of the iconic duo of condiments will be available on Heinz’s social media over the next few weeks.
