Gerard Butler got stoned at a Barbra Streisand concert
January 16th, 2018 under Barbra Streisand, Gerard Butler, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

When you think of Gerard Butler, you do not necessarily think of him as someone who goes to Barbra Streisand concerts. Turns out that he does and he has a highlarious story about one the shows he saw her at.

He told Jimmy Kimmel yesterday that he went to one of her performances and his friend offered him a cookie. One of those types of cookies. Therefore, he got really stoned.

But that is not the best part of the story, that part actually started years earlier. Butler met her, and they had such a good connection that she called him. Only problem was he was heading to Haiti after the earthquake and did not call her back. Back to that show where he was higher than her notes, the two met up again. He tried to avoid her, but he could not. He was all prepared to come up with a great story why he never he return her call. Then when she said to him, you didn’t phone, all he did was say, “I know.”

No one says that to Babs and survives, right? Butler is not like everyone else, he called her a few days later and the two still talk all the time. Which is so random.

Someone who might not be talking to him anymore is Mathew McCounaughey. Why? Just watch the interview to see how Butler imitates his friend’s dancing. Although, I am sure McConnaughey will probably be alright, alright, alright with it.

January 15th, 2018 under Before They Were Famous, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

Turns out Bugsy wasn’t the first bad guy that Annette Bening dated, she also went out with one on Miami Vice. How gorgeous was the 28-year-old making her television debut in that 1987 episode?

Make sure to listen to her interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live as she tells him the unusual way she landed that role.

Can Meryl Streep name the 20 movies she was nominated for an Oscar?
January 9th, 2018 under Jimmy Kimmel, Meryl Streep. [ Comments: 1 ]

Meryl Streep has been nominated for an Oscar 20 times, the most out of any thespian by 8 nominations. Not only is it nice to be nominated all of those times, it is even better to win. She did that three times.

Yesterday when she was on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he wanted to see if she can name all of those films in :60 seconds. How did she do? Terrible. But hey, that is a lot to remember with her a career that spans one as admirable as hers.

Want to see what the 20 movies are, then click here!

Diddy wants to be as referred to as just Love for the time being
January 4th, 2018 under Jimmy Kimmel, P Diddy. [ Comments: none ]

Back in November, Sean Diddy Puffy Combs announced that he wanted to be known as Brother Love. Then a few days later, he took it back.

Now almost two months later, he told Jimmy Kimmel that he was serious. He now goes by Love only. The rapper says he dropped the Brother because as an African-American he already is one. His words not mine.

How long do you think he will keep the Love name? Do you love it? Are you going to watch him on The Four tonight at 8p on Fox? I am curious about the singing competitions show.

Imagine Full House with David Duchovny
January 3rd, 2018 under Full House, Jimmy Kimmel, X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

Believe it or not, before John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier all landed their roles on Full House, David Duchovny auditioned for all three of their parts. He told Jimmy Kimmel yesterday, he auditioned for one, and they asked him to try out for the another role. That one did not work either, so he read for the last role and as you know it did not work out for him.

Was he upset that he wasn’t cast in the sitcom? No, he would have taken it just to eat back then. I, on the other hand, am upset. He has a genius sense of humor and would have been able to pull off the role if he was half as comedic as the part he played in Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter Is Dead. Remember him that classic film? So brilliant.

Now having said that, I do not think The X-Files would have lasted as long without him. And same goes for Full House with him in it.
