James McAvoy was on The Tonight Show yesterday and he told Jimmy Fallon how much his son likes to sit on his shoulders and the tyke likes to rub his hands all over his dad’s nearly bald head. Then Charles Xavier asked the NBC host if he wanted to try it. Without thinking, both men agreed to do it. Then a plan was devised as Fallon got up on his desk and sat on McAvoy’s shoulders. After a few seconds, they realized it was a really bad idea but it was too late. Thankfully, McAvoy, who is a few inches shorter, was able to put his partner down uninjured. And with Fallon, that is a really important things these days.
BTW did you notice the bandage is off his right ring finger?
Daniel Radcliffe was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged him to a game of Water War. Basically, they play the card game war, but the loser of each round gets a glass of water poured or thrown on them. Well, Harry Potter found the game quite magical. So much so, that every time someone lost a round, Radcliffe couldn’t stop laughing. He laughed harder when he won, but he didn’t stop when he was all wet. His giggling put such a spell on me, I was giggling along with him. Did he put the same spell on you too?

Everyone knows the all the lyrics to Alanis Morissette’s Ironic, even chickens. Yesterday, on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon proved that point when he, along with Alanis Morissette and Meghan Trainor, dressed up as chickens and clucked out the iconic song Ironic. From now on, that is how I am going to belt out the song. I just hope I don’t lay an egg.

As we all know, Will Forte has grown a very impressive, thick, wild beard for his Fox show The Last Man on Earth and he is afraid what might be in it. What he is most afraid of is that there might be poop hidden in there. Yesterday, when he was on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon got the contents of his beard analyzed. What they found is shocking, but there is some good news. There is no poop in it.
So the only sh!tty thing attached to him is that movie MacGruber he did that was the end all for Saturday Night Live big screen movies.
Jimmy Fallon and falling seem to go hand in hand this year. Back in June, he fell in his kitchen, got his wedding ring stuck on something and nearly severed off his finger. A few weeks later, he chipped his tooth while trying to open some medicine. Yesterday, while being honored by Harvard Lampoon, he tripped and fell over someone who suddenly knelled in front of him according to People. The Tonight Show host injured his hand and was rushed to the hospital. Once his right hand was bandaged up, he returned the party and continued greeting his fans. Proving that the show must go on.
Poor Jimmy, this is the second time this year that he fell, injured his hand and was rushed to the hospital while he was on hiatus from the show. If I were him, I wouldn’t allow his NBC show to have any more time off this year. Although on a positive note, he doesn’t have any more hands to injure since he injured the two that he has.
In all seriousness, let’s hope he gets better real soon.
UPDATE: Jimmy Fallon just posted a photo of his injured right hand and says it was “nothing that a few band-aids couldn’t fix!”
UPDATE 2: A source from the show tells me that The Tonight Show will go on tomorrow as scheduled. I am sure he will tell us what happened in his monologue.
