Sam Rockwell was on The Tonight Show yesterday to promote his movie Argyle, which is out now. But his entrance reminded me of another feature. It was just like Gene Wilder’s first scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Rockwell walked out with a cane like he needed assistance, but then he did his signature dance. So he Wonkaed us.
And it is not the first time he made a spectacular entrance. Jimmy Fallon his other four, and each one gets better and better. So much that I can’t wait until he is on the late night show again to see what he does next.
Green Day is promoting their new album, Saviors, which is out today. So they did a stopover on The Tonight Show to get the word out.
Jimmy Fallon thought they should do more than just perform in his studio, so he had them sing their songs in a NYC subway station.
And the commuters didn’t have a problem with that. In fact, they rocked out along with the band as they san Basket Case, Dilemma, Look Ma, No Brains, and American Idiot.
We already got a bitchin’ sneak peek of the latter song when someone posted it on TikTok. And the whole mini-concert was bombtastic!

Jimmy Fallon invited Green Day to play a NYC subway station for a segment on The Tonight Show, and New Yawkers had no problem with it.
In fact, they belted out American Idiots with the band. Because in NYC, that is what we think of everyone who is not from there. Don’t be upset. It is just how we are!
So, for those few moments, we accepted the band as one of our own. And we love that they changed the lyrics from I’m not a part of a redneck agenda to MAGA agaenda. Cause we hate Trump, and we proudly say we don’t support his hateful, American-destroying movement.
So, that is why Ya Boi and the other commuters declared, “Sometimes the subway in NYC isn’t too bad.”
However, other days, we don’t want to talk about it. But today, we are talking about how fucking cool this Green Day performance was!
And am I the only one who found Fallon looking really hot here? Tell me, I am not alone.
Every now and again, YouTube likes to show me Johnny Carson interviews that go in a completely different direction than they were intended to go. And they are a laugh-out-loud riot.
Yesterday, Bradley Cooper was on The Tonight Show, and Jimmy Fallon and he talked about the actor’s 30th high school reunion. That conversation should not have been funny. But for some reason, they couldn’t stop laughing.
It was not Carson-level funny. Not even close. But it should be enough to make Cooper a little more likable after revealing he is a dick of a director who didn’t think people needed to sit between takes of his film Maestro.
Last week, Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore took their children to Disneyland. While they were there, Moore took her son, Gus, to see Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled.
In case you didn’t know, the actress is the voice of Rapunzel. So, was he impressed? Not at all.
And to further prove his lack of care about that, yesterday, when she was on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon asked her if the 2-year-old has seen the movie. And the This Is Us star said he keeps saying no when she asks him.
Hopefully, Ozzie will show some interest in the movie when he is a little older.
Because how sad would it be if she had kids and they didn’t care that she voiced a Disney character? At least their nursery school crushes will be impressed!
Oh, and to make things even sadder for the actress. She told Fallon that even the Disneyland Rapunzel and Flynn didn’t acknowledge that she was the voice of one of them.
Poor Mandy. I am impressed because I loved that movie. My niece even had a Tangled-themed birthday party.
