James Corden tests positve for COVID-19
January 6th, 2022 under James Corden, Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz. [ Comments: none ]

James Corden has joined the omicron club. “I just tested positive for covid 19. I’m fully vaccinated, boosted and because of this am fortunate enough to say I feel completely fine,” he wrote. “The show will be off the air for the next few days. Stay safe everyone. All my love, James x”

What worries me about his case is how close he was to his guests this week. Look at how he is sharing air space with Penélope Cruz. She should get tested ASAP, as should Jessica Chastain and all of the other celebrities who were on The Late Late Show this week.

In fact, I think all of the talk shows with in-studio guests should go remote for the month. So far this week, Seth Meyers and Hoda Kotb tested positive after showing up to work. The View was smart to keep their hosts home after Whoopi Goldberg positive at the end of Christmas break.

Be safe y’all. Get the vaccine and/or the booster, wear a mask, wash your hands, and social distance. It is scary out there.

I will wait for the Lifetime movie based on Tammy Faye Bakker’s life
June 9th, 2021 under Andrew Garfield, Jessica Chastain. [ Comments: none ]

The first trailer is out for The Eyes of Tammy Faye Bakker that stars Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain. After watching it, I would prefer the over-the-top version that we would get from a channel like Lifetime because it is more fitting of the televangelist than a big-budget movie.

I know people are saying that Chastain looks like Tammy Faye, but I don’t see it. Do you?

Good Girls is the female empowering show we need!
March 3rd, 2019 under Jessica Chastain, NBC. [ Comments: none ]
For decades, it has been the boys who commit the crimes, but NBC’s Good Girls changed that. Tonight at 10p, Beth (Christina Hendricks), her sister Annie (Mae Whitman) and their friend Rubi (Retta) are back and Detroit will never be safe again from housewives.

When we last left off, Beth’s husband Dean was being held at gunpoint by Rio (Manny Montana) and she had a gun of her own. Shortly after the episode starts off, we will find out what she does next.

We also get to find out how police officer Stan (Reno Wilson) reacts to finding out his wife is a criminal. She choose the life of crime to help pay their daughter’s never-ending medical bills. Will that sway him or will he arrest her and her friends?

Meanwhile, Annie (Mae Whitman) is sleeping with her baby daddy who is trying to make a baby with his wife. They need to keep her affair secret from everyone, especially their daughter Sadie (Isaiah Stannard), who identifies as a boy.

If that is not enough, they still need money. How are they going to get it? You know these three women will find a way. Will Rio let them be out on their own?

Coming up this season, there will be a death, a baby, betrayals, change in power, sex with and without someone, fights and so much more.

I would say sit back and relax, but this show keeps on the edge of our seats. It truly is the show us women need because it shows our men when we are bad, we are even better Good Girls.

Does Jessica Chastain look better with or without makeup?
June 27th, 2018 under Jessica Chastain, No makeup. [ Comments: none ]

Jessica Chastain began filming It: Chapter 2 today and she does not look like herself. Gone is the glam and hello is tomboy Beverly Marsh. As you can tell it is a 360 from how we normally see the ginger. And yet she is still fiery hot, freckles and all. What do you think?

BWTF: Jessica Chastain on ER
June 20th, 2018 under Before They Were Famous, Jessica Chastain. [ Comments: none ]

Before Jessica Chastain had someone taking care of her in The Help, she was taking care of her dad on ER. She looks the same now as she did when she was 33 in that 2011 movie.
