Jay Leno is a guest on The Late Late Show tonight, and Craig Ferguson and him heckled a female comedian who was doing her act on the CBS talk show that airs at 12:37a.
Comedian Cameron Esposito was talking about what type of dresses her girlfriend and her are going to wear when they get married. She said that they’re going to wear denim ones and then referenced that Leno likes blue jeans. Well Craig interrupted her and asked, “Are you saying he is a lesbian?” Then she tried to respond back to the two veteran comedians and it didn’t work as well as she liked. Realizing that her first late night talk experience wasn’t going as well as she hoped, she asked if she could interview them. It was then that they told her she is the future of late night TV. So much so that Leno told her that “white men are on the way out.” Which I assume he is referring to the late night television market. Only problem with his theory is that the person who’s replacing the person who is replacing him is white, so maybe not just yet. Although when Letterman and Craig are gone from their shows, it will be interesting to see who will replace the two white males. Will they finally get a woman and/or someone of color to host a late night show on the big three or will it be another honky? I am hoping for some diversity and also someone who is not named Jimmy to fill the vacated slots.
BTW I am not including Joan Rivers, Chelsea Handler, Arsenio Hall or George Lopez in this mix because they did/do not host a show on any of the big three networks, CBS, NBC or ABC.
Matt LeBlanc was a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday and everything was copacetic between Jay Leno and the Friend during the interview. But turns out that isn’t how the two acted towards each other when the NBC late night host appeared on LeBlanc’s Showtime show Episodes. It’s a side of Leno we have never seen and I like him better that way.
The extremely talented Robin Williams is a guest on The Tonight Show tonight and he Tweeted a picture of someone he ran into backstage. That person is the very much loved Betty White and what we got is a picture that is sure to bring a huge smile to your face.
I hope that someone who works on the much anticipated CBS’s The Crazy Ones sees this pictures and casts Miss White as his mom. How freaking awesome would that would be? It would be comedy diamond, that’s right better than gold!
Jayma Mays was a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday and she told Jay Leno how she almost didn’t make it to the NBC show for her appearance. The Glee star explained that she had a really bad ear infection for the last week. It got so bad, she started to have blood come out of her ear and she thought her eardrum burst. So she went to the doctor, who told her he wasn’t sure if she had done that because there was so much blood. He sent the nurse in to drain her ear with some drops. As the RN did that she started to back away and ran to get the doctor. When he came in, the Smurfs actress thought maybe her brain was coming out and got very nervous. Turns out a bug had been living in her ear and when the nurse drained it, the drops drowned the bug releasing it from its new home.
So why did the bug decide to make her ear their home? It’s because her ears are so clean that lack of wax buildup gave the bug enough room to make her head its house. So the next time you grab your Q-Tip just remember this story.
Could you imagine how her Glee character, Emma Pillsbury, would react to this? Even worse than Ashton Kutcher did. He was more grossed out by it than she was.
As we all know Jay Leno will be out of a job in a few months, so he is looking for something new to do. It looks like that the viral hit Sharknado has inspired him to get back in to acting and he will be starring in Chinnado on Syfy.
I can’t remember the last time a movie on Syfy gave me nightmares, but I am sure this movie will do it. I am already haunted by the images I saw that trailer that aired on The Tonight Show last night. Now having said that, I can’t wait to see the Chinnado!
