Jane Lynch was on Conan yesterday and Andy Richter mentioned how much drinking they did on the NBC show. The game show host said that it used to be that a glass never went empty on HGN.
However, things have changed and now they do not serve as much alcohol as they used to. Why? Simply too many, celebs and contestants got really wasted.
How drunk? She said that one person was so upset that they missed out on a point that they got into a fetal position and tears were flowing down her face. Another one got so drunk, that he could not stand up anymore. The last instance she talked about is someone gave a speech to the audience about how hard it is to find a good nanny.
I guess you can understand why Sean Hayes, who produces the show, put his foot down and stopped encouraging the players from having an unlimited amount of liquor. I mean he does not have kids, what does he know about hiring nannies? I guess it was for those people who found themselves crying like an infant or couldn’t walk. What nanny wants to put up with that.
Of course, I am joking about Hayes being the one. Here is the IMDB page listing who has been on the show. Who do you think are the answers to her blind items? I think Kelly Clarkson or Kristen Bell was the crier and Jason Biggs was the person who has nanny issues. They are just the three names who popped into my head.

Kaboom!!! Hollywood Game Night is finally back on NBC tonight at 9p with all-new episodes. Not only does host Jane Lynch have a new house, but there are also some new games to play.
Tonight it is American Ninja Warrior hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila and Matt Iseman joined by Superstore’s Nico Santos vs The Good Place’s D’Arcy Carden, Marc Evan Jackson and Jameela Jamil. The first game they play is Kaboom which will scare the hell out of the contestants and us. Which is why it is favorite!
The second game is a new one. Each celebrity is given a movie title while the team captain is given the photo of an actor to hold up. If that actor was in one of those movies, then they need to run over to their leader to see if they are right. For example the celebs are given The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Grown Ups, which movies were Chris Rock in? Now, does Whipflash make sense?
The third one has them trying to reach the buzzer in a pool of plastic balls. The next game is Sound Off where they are each given a word to say in their order, together the sound of those four words are the name of TV show. Sounds easy, but it really is not. Finally, it is time for Lend A Hand. That is where one player stands behinds another one and puts their hands between their arms. The person in the back has to get the other two players to guess what they are describing. It is really funny.
Actually all of the games are funny which is why this game show was responsible for bringing back the genre!

CBS has cancelled cancelled Angel From Hell after just five episodes according to The Hollywood Reporter. Why did I say cancelled cancelled? Because this is only the second show this season to be pulled from the lineup before all of their filmed episodes aired. The other show was ABC’s Wicked City.
The show’s star Jane Lynch confirmed the news on Twitter with, “Oh my newly minted #anghellions. Thank you for supporting our show! It is so sad but what a joy was had. 😇💋”
Is the news a surprise? No, the sitcom was from Hell. It was truly awful and I like the cast. This was just a really bad unfunny show.
So what will be replacing it on Thursdays at 9:30p? A Big Bang Theory repeat this week and then 2 Broke Girls will air their remaining episodes for this season in that slot.
