The things Asher Grodman had to give up to play pantless Trevor on Ghosts
April 7th, 2022 under Ghosts. [ Comments: none ]

Asher Grodman landed the role of a lifetime when he was cast as Trevor on CBS’s Ghosts. However, there are things he had to give up to play a ghost who died without pants and underwear.

What are those things? The actor told the AP he is not allowed to do leg exercises or tan them. He learned the consequences of the latter one when he came to the set with sun-kissed gams. That is because he spent the next three months having them put foundation on his thighs.

That doesn’t sound like a lot of fun. But what is fun is Ghosts, so catch up on every episode before next week’s all-new episode. You don’t want to miss the episode when we find out why Trevor died half-naked from the waist down.

Find out how and why Trevor died without his pants and boxers on Ghosts tonight!
March 31st, 2022 under Ghosts. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight at 9p on CBS, one of TV’s biggest mysteries is going to be solved. It is right up with Who Shot JR and Who Shot Monty Burns? What is this mystery I am talking about? It is why Trevor died without pants on Ghosts.

We have waited 15 episodes for this reveal, and the sweet 16 one tells all. So, how did it happen? As if I am going to tell you.

But, here is what I will share. It was November 2000, and papa, I mean Trevor (Asher Grodman), got a new pair of pants! He showed them off to all his bros at work, and they admired how good he looked in them. Well, not in such words because these were the type of men who never grew out of their frat days.

Case in point, they are going to Woodstone Manor to celebrate the latest member of their crew. There will be alcohol, drugs, and everything else that comes with a Wall Street party in the year of Y2K. Is that what killed Trevor?

Before we get to that, let’s fast forward to current day. Remember a few weeks ago, when the Ghosts and the livings found an expensive pocket watch on the body of Hetty’s (Rebecca Wisocky) late husband, who she told to go to hell, and he literally did? It is not about him, it is about the watch, and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) and Sam (Rose McIver) are selling it. The person (Rob Huebel) who wants to buy is one of Trevor’s bros who was there that night.

As soon as Trevor sees him enter the house, it reminds the pantless ghost of the night he died. That causes Sam to ask him the question that we have all wanted to know, where are his pants?

Trevor tells one story that is so Trevor, but Sass (Román Zaragoza) shares with all of us the real story of that fateful night. And it is…

As if I am going to tell you now if I didn’t tell you before. Sass has kept this secret, so not even Hetty, Pete (Richie Moriarty), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Isaac (Trevor Scott Jones), Thorfin (Devan Chandler Long), and Flower (Sheila Carrasco) know the truth.

What happens when they find out how he really lost his pants and boxers? Yes, I said boxers because we see him take them off. Oh no, I have said too much. Or have I?

The only way you will find out is if you tune in the best episode of the season for television’s best new show of the year.

Oh, one more thing, after you watch it, you will be saying that CBS needs to submit this episode and Asher Grodman to the Emmys. They both deserve it for the work done tonight. If you didn’t love Trevor before tonight’s episode, you will afterwards.

BTW In case you couldn’t tell, I am in love with the show. And did I mention that one of the Ghosts declares his love for one of the other Ghosts? Can you guess who? Will we see Trevor’s shirt get a rise? Too far.

And if you read this far along, then I might as well tell you how Trevor lost his pants. To find out then click here!

TV’s biggest mystery since Who Shot JR will be solved on March 31st; Where’s Trevor’s Pants?
March 9th, 2022 under Ghosts. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the early ’80s, everyone wanted to know Who Shot JR on Dallas. Now, 40 years later, there is another mystery that has been keeping television audiences captivated. Why did Trevor die without pants and underwear (as we learned on the last episode) on CBS’s Ghosts?

On March 31st, we are going to find out why and how that happened. I saw that episode. And I know why. I want to tell you why, but I can’t.

What I can tell you is I think that CBS should submit the episode and Asher Grodman for the Emmy. That is how perfect it is.

When the episode ended, I went up to my TV and hugged it because Trevor’s story and Grodman’s performance deserved it.

But I have said too much. So, set your DVRs because you are not going to want to miss the reveal on why so much of Trevor is revealed.

Until then, you can catch up on this season’s #1 new show on CBS OnDemand and Paramount+. Or you can rewatch the season because the series is just that enjoyable. I can never get enough of it, and I am not alone. Find out why people love Ghosts, and tell everyone they like to watch it.

Sass’ real dad plays his Ghosts’ dad tonight in a sentimental episode
February 24th, 2022 under Ghosts. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWJPVkJ5H3w

Tonight at 9p on CBS, we get to learn more Sass’ (Román Zaragoza) backstory on Ghosts. Mainly, we learn about his relationship with his dad. To make the relationship feel even more special, the producers cast Zaragoza’s real dad Gregory Zaragoza as his TV dad.

I have been a Twitter looky-loo at their father/son relationship, and it is so sweet how much the two of them support each other. So to see them act together made my ice-cold heart melt. It makes their sentimental scenes together even more heartwarming.

So, what is tonight’s episode about? Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) are one step closer to opening their B&B. All they need to do is finish the creative part for their website. Since Sam is the writer in the family, he is leaving that part to her.

She is having writer’s block, so Sass agrees to help her. When he was alive, he was a storyteller. However, like Sam’s mom, his dad didn’t encourage him to become one.

That turns out to be a shame because Sass is really good at it. He comes up with an idea that a tree is the narrator that gives people the backstory of Woodstone Manor. You and I like the idea, but Sam doesn’t. Sass thinks he is right, so he asks fellow Ghosts Trevor (Asher Grodman) to use his special paranormal power to type what he wants on to the website. What could go wrong? Yep, that!

While that is going on, Jay is bonding with Pete (Richie Moriarty) as they watch a basketball game. How does Jay, who can’t see Ghosts, bond with a Ghost? You just have to see how.

However, their friendship is broken up when another living comes between them and squashes it. Or should I say a living squashes, Pete, when he sits on the Scout? Poor Pete. But not that poor because one of the Ghosts who knows about basketball tries to bond with him, and he ignores that fellow Ghost.

All of this leads to an ending that will give you all of the feels. Including humor when we learn something we didn’t know about Trevor. But I have said too much.

I didn’t realize how much I missed this show while it was on hiatus until I watched tonight’s episode. I can’t believe that after tonight, there are only four more new episodes for this season. I need more than that. At least it will be back for a second season.

CBS announced today that they are picking up Ghosts, The Neighborhood, and Bob Hearts Abishola for another season. The three shows will join Young Sheldon and CSI: Vegas on the 2022-2023 schedule.

“We’re thrilled to bring back television’s four most-watched comedies for next season, and I’m proud of the incredible team that maintains CBS’ position as the clear leader in comedy,” said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. “Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, together with a breakout cast and exceptional writers, have done a superb job of adapting GHOSTS for the U.S. and absolutely making it their own. This smart and charming show is delivering new creative highs, not to mention scaring up new audience highs, every week.”

“And on Mondays, the perfect pairing of THE NEIGHBORHOOD and BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA continues to deftly blend belly laughs with relatable and culturally relevant storylines, thanks to these exceptionally talented actors and outstanding creative teams,” Kahl continued.

Ghosts has been the surprise hit of the Fall. Each week the show has been finding more and more viewers, and they are sticking around. That is the power of the heartfelt, funny comedy that makes you fall in love with it at first sight.
