Matthew Perry is on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight and he shared a story about the time he beat up Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Wait what? At the time Trudeau wasn’t the PM, his father was. You see, Perry was in 5th grade and went to school with the young Trudeau. The Friends’ star and his friend, who wasn’t Joey, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe or Monica, were jealous of Justin for some reason, so they gave him a beat down because boys will be boys. Perry is not proud of his past, but it happened. Since it did he got to share that story over 35 years later on a late night talk show.
Hopefully Trudeau won’t see this because if he does, he might ban Perry from Canada for life. He can do that right?
It has been over 20 years since we first heard The Rembrandts I’ll Be There For You and after two decades it still sounds the same way. That all changed yesterday when Vanessa Hudgens and Jimmy Fallon finally changed it up on his Tonight Show. Instead of singing it like the Pop version we have heard time and time again at the beginning of Friends, they made it more Folksy. The way they did it, will make us fall in love with the song all over again. Just like Jennifer Aniston wants us to with her, but that ain’t ever going to happen.
Chelsea Kane shared a photo of herself looking very pregnant, so does the Baby Daddy star have a baby daddy we don’t know about? Nope! Well her character is pregnant by Danny, her boyfriend on the Freeform sitcom, but in real life she is not pregnant. Pretty realistic baby bump. Don’t you agree!
Back in 2003, Emma took her first steps on Friends, but she wouldn’t do it again for her mom. Therefore Rachel asked all of her Friends to stand still to see if she would do it again. Just as they turned into Mannequins, Phoebe walks in the door. She grabs a bowl and joins them. And with that Mannequin Challenge was born and it took them 13 whole years to make it a trend!
Thanks to Bruna for revealing the origins of the latest viral challenge!
If someone mentions the theme to Friends, in your mind you start singing The Rembrandts’ I’ll Be There For You. You loved that song and it puts a smile on your face whenever you hear it.
But it was a different story for the cast of the beloved sitcom. After talking about Sex Toys on BBC’s The One Show, Jennifer Aniston was asked about that tune we know so well. Rachel revealed, “We were all never a big fan, no was ever really a big fan of that theme song.” Then she added, “We felt it was a little, I don’t know, dancing in a pond, felt like a fountain, felt sort of odd, but we did it.”
It might’ve felt odd to her, but the fans loved it. That is why you can close your eyes right now and see them dancing in that fountain she hated.
And whenever I close my eyes during any of the movies she has done since the sitcom, all I see is Rachel because every role she does is her character on Friends. Seriously, tell me I am not the only one who thinks she is a one note wonder.
