The first fall show picked up for a full season is…
September 21st, 2009 under Fox, Glee. [ Comments: 3 ]

So what is the first fall show to get a a full season pick up? File this under no duh, it was the first one to premiere back in May and that show is Glee!!! Start singing Fox’s praises because they didn’t Stop Believing in the most anticipated show of the fall season. I can’t wait to see what storylines and songs they come up with for the bottom nine because if they are as good as the first 13 it is going to be one awesome season to cheer about!!!

The mystery continues on Fringe and Lance Reddick told me about it!
September 17th, 2009 under Fox, Interviews. [ Comments: none ]

Fringe is back for its second season on Fox tonight at 9p and there are going to be some changes for the show and Lance Reddick who plays Agent Phillip Broyles told me about some of them.
On the season premiere of Fringe, it starts with a bang and Olivia Dunham making an entrance that you will be talking about tomorrow and things are not looking good for her. But she is not the only one things are not looking good for because Agent Broyles is in DC trying to save Fringe because the government wants to shut it down. Lance Reddick told me we are going to learn more about the history between Fringe and the government in the upcoming episodes and the conflict between the two. He also told me we are learn about the history of Fringe and what it was like before Olivia, Peter and Walter joined them and that we are going to meet his ex-wife. For those of you who watched Fringe, you know the show is all about unexplained phenomena that they try to solve, so I had to ask him if he is changed his outlook on things. You have to check out the interview above to see his answer to the question because it is a really interesting response, just like the show itself. And on that note, I am looking forward to this season and how getting the government involved is going to change things up. Plus they have added at least one new cast member and her appearance on the season premiere has already made a difference. One thing that hasn’t changed is the unique father/son relationship between Walter and Peter. In tonight’s episode Walter insists on making Peter a birthday custard even though Peter tells him he hates custard. Walter’s need to make his son’s birthday so special is so sweet and such a unique aspect to a show about solving the unsolvable! So check out Fringe on Fox tonight and every Thursday at 9p for a show that leaves you guessing every week!
Now back to Lance Reddick when I asked him what he has coming up he told me is marketing a jazz CD he has been working on for years called Contemplations and Remembrances. You can listen to the album on Lance Reddick’s site and download it for a really good price. Let me tell you guys, I was blown away by how smooth his voice is. I am not a jazz fan and I am in love with his music! You should totally listen to it while you wait to watch the season premiere of Fringe tonight on Fox at 9p!

The Fox Fall Eco-Casino Party red carpet!
September 15th, 2009 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Last night was the Fox Fall Eco-Casino Party and I was on the red carpet that was sponsored by Ford and benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles to interview the stars of the new and returning Fox shows!!!

Fresh from winning an Emmy for Outstanding Choreography on Saturday, Tyce Diorio was there walking the red carpet and he told me what we can expect from season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance that just started up on Wednesdays at 8p.

SYTYCD is followed by the biggest new show of the season, Glee at 9p and I talked to two of the members of the club and both of them told me that the number they enjoyed most was Queen’s Somebody to Love. I can’t wait to see them do it because if both of them are backing it, it must be freaking brilliant. Cory Monteith and Kevin McHale also told me how their lives have changed since the show debuted in May and they are both still extremely humble and enjoying the ride. Just another reason to love this show.

On Thursday, Fringe is back for its second season at 9p and Lance Reddick, who runs the unit told me about the some of the changes coming up! And after watching the season premiere there will be a lot new things and people coming to the show this season. He also told me that before he was acting, he was a Jazz musician and he is currently working on finishing up his first album.

Next Friday (9/25) at 8p, the funniest sitcom of the new season Brothers is going to premiere and one of the Brothers Daryl “Chill” Mitchell talked to me about the hysterical show. He also told me that he is getting ideas for the show from Tweets that are sent to his Twitter @DarylChill. So after you watch the show next Friday, make sure to Tweet him with your suggestions, but until then follow him because his Tweets are fun to read.

Family Guy is getting a spinoff with The Cleveland Show on September 26th at 8:30p and the father and son told me about some of the awesome guest stars they had on the show so far and it hasn’t even premiered yet. Kevin Michael Richardson (Cleveland Jr) and Mike Henry (Cleveland) told me that on the show one of them voices a white guy and the other one an African-American one, can you guess which one is which? These guys also did their voices for me and I can’t wait to show you the video interviews of them doing because it was so f*cking cool!!!

On Friday October 2nd at 8:30p, the show that will be with Fox forever is ’til Death, but one thing that hasn’t been with the show forever is the actress who plays Allison Stark. You see the show is on its third (or as Timm Sharp told me 4th) actress to play the role of Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher’s daughter. Lindsey Broad told me what it is like to play the role that two other actresses have played and the changes between her relationship with Doug. The two of them have made some changes to their life and locale. Timm Sharp (Doug) also told me his character will have some really weird visions that I can’t wait to see him act out!

Finally coming in January is Sons of Tucosn, a live-action sitcom that will be sandwiched between Fox’s animated shows and Tyler Labine is plenty animated to fit in during that awesome timeslot. The show deals with a guy who is hired by three boys to act as their dad who is incarcerated and then he hires them back to steal from his grandmother and the rest is sitcom hilariousness. So when I asked Tyler who is the biggest kid on the set, who do you think his answer was? You got it, he is! So see the big kid in this cute sitcom in 2010!

Coming up in the next few weeks, I will be posting the videos with all the stars above and they really had some interesting stuff to say about the upcoming seasons of their shows. So make sure to check back for them and the meantime keep watching Fox that keeps producing watchable TV unlike unlike other networks that are nothing but crap…
xoxo to Janice and Tra-Mi for inviting to me to the awesome red carpet!!!

Say goodbye to King of the Hill tonight
September 13th, 2009 under Fox. [ Comments: 3 ]

(photo © Fox)

After 13 years and 253 episodes King of the Hill says goodbye tonight on Fox at 8p. In tonight’s final 2 episodes Bobby gets 3 pretty girlfriends and then he finally joins a sports competition that his dad Hank is proud of and wait until you see what is. While both episodes are your typical funny King of the Hill episodes that you should totally watch, I wish there was one more so they can really say goodbye. After 13 years they deserve one of those final episodes, you know where they move away or Hank has a heart attack or they meet at a diner, listen to Journey and then the screen goes to black.
Thank you to King of the Hill for 253 funny episodes that will live on in syndication!!!
