Get to know Past Life in this one!
February 9th, 2010 under Fox. [ Comments: 3 ]

Tonight on Fox at 9p, after Ellen DeGeneres makes her American Idol debut, the latest procedural will make its debut. Past Life is not like all the other procedural on the air now because they are trying to solve the murder via the person who was murdered and their soul is now in someone else’s body. Maybe because I am into past life regressions and all, but I love this show. It is so different than anything else on TV and it is totally not predictable. I have seen the first two episodes and I had no idea who the murderers were, how their murders were going to play out and how the team was going to solve the crime. If you are sick of seeing the same thing week in and week out with the CSIs and Law & Orders then Past Life is for you! I promise you and your past lives will love this show as much as mine did!
Seriously I saw the pilot for Past Life over the summer and I absolutely loved the show, and I have been waiting for it to debut since then. I was afraid that the show wouldn’t be as good after the pilot, but I actually liked the second episode better!

Tonight at 9p on Fox is the winter finale of Fringe and let me tell you it is so freaking good! On tonight’s episode the team is called in to look into a NY building that has suffered an unexplainable incident that leaves everyone, but one person dead. What is revealed by that one person will leave Walter asking Olivia to do the unthinkable to save several other people. Will she do it? And can she do it? You will have to tune in to find out. And make sure to watch it all the way until the end because what they reveal in the final seconds of the episode will answer a whole lot of question and ask a sh!tload more.
BTW did I mention there is an intimate moment between Peter and Olivia? You will tune in to see just how far they will go???

Kitchen Nightmares gets cooking again on Fox!
January 29th, 2010 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Kitchen Nightmares is back for a third season tonight on Fox at 9p and I can’t wait to dine at this season’s restaurants via the boob tube. I have to admit I never got in to Hell’s Kitchen, but I love what Gordon Ramsey does with Kitchen Nightmares. He goes into these restaurants that desperately need his help and he saves them from the brink of closure. He is tough as nails when he first gets there, but you understand he is only doing it to help them out. Once he sees they really care about their businesses he becomes their teacher and savior.
On tonight’s episode he goes to Philly and helps two sisters. a sister-in-law and niece try to save their place The Hot Potato, but when none of them seem to care if the business stays opens or closes he walks out. When the women beg him to come back, he decides to give them a second chance. Were they sincere when they told him they want to keep restaurant or were they just saying it to get him back? Tune into to Fox at 9p to find out.

The clock begins on 24 tonight
January 17th, 2010 under Fox. [ Comments: 1 ]

The first two hours of 24 begin tonight on Fox at 9p and then tomorrow 8p the next two play out. This season the show moves to NYC as Jack Bauer is trying to move back to LA. But just as he ready to be a a fulltime grandfather he gets sucked backed in to his old job with new faces. The first four hours are fast paced and just as thrilling as the first 7 days of the show, so you are not going to want to miss a second of 24! Especially since they added Freddie Prinze Jr to the show this year!

CBS, TNT, Fox and ABC Family are picking up shows like crazy!
January 14th, 2010 under CBS, Fox, Freeform, TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

CBS announced today that it has picked up the #1 new show of the season NCIS LA and the well liked The Good Wife for a second season. Both shows have done really well for CBS on Tuesdays, so it is no surprise that CBS is sticking with them.
Also coming back for a second season is TNT’s critically acclaimed show Men of a Certain Age that stars Ray Romano, Scott Bakula and Andre Braugher. Can I tell you I love this show! I am one of the few people that didn’t love Everybody Loves Raymond, but I am loving this show so check it Mondays at 10p on TNT.
Here is something to sing about, Fox is bringing back the most talked about show of the new season, Glee for a second one. As if there was any doubt that they would!
Finally ABC Family had its highest ratings yet for The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Make It or Break It when they had their season premiere last week, so they wasted no time to announce that they will bring them both shows for another season.
All the above shows join the pick ups of ABC’s Wednesday night comedies The Middle, Modern Family and Cougar Town.
