https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0wLCGwYZ3g Pitch swings and hits a homer tonight at 9p on Fox. The heartwarming drama is about the first female player who makes it up to the big leagues. If you think about, it looks like we have the first female President before we have a woman in the majors. Who would’ve thought? Both don’t seem like a reality, but Pitch makes it seem like it can be one.
Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury) is called up to the Big Leagues after many years in the Minors. There is so much attention surrounding her pitching debut, but can the first MLB female player live up to the hype, and survive the pressure. Her publicist is on her side as is some of her teammates and bosses, but then there are those that think she is just a gimmick. Is she? You will have to watch to find out. Pitch is a show that every parent needs to watch with his little girl so that she can learn she can be whatever she wants! That and it is one of the few dramas you can watch as a family.

I watched Notorious a few months ago, and I didn’t like it. I am opting not to watch it again because I disliked it that much.
If it was just about a News Producer (Piper Perabo) and a Lawyer (Daniel Sunjata), who are breaking news stories, because of their friendship; then fine. But then there is a case that develops during the episode and it doesn’t keep my interest because it is one we have seen before, so not fine.
That and I am not one of the people who drinks the Shonda Rhimes Kool-Aid, so it is not like I feel like I have to watch the meat in her sandwich.
Lethal Weapon gets a small screen makeover and it is as exciting as the big screen one. Tonight at 8p on Fox get to know Clayne Crawford as Riggs and Damon Wayans as Murtaugh.
Riggs recently lost his wife and that caused the cop to have a death wish. He recently moved and he is teamed up with his new partner Murtaugh. The latter recently had a heart attack and became a father for the 3rd time, so he doesn’t want to die. Making this team interesting. Good thing Murtaugh’s wife Keesha Sharp will keep them in line.
LW is like a procedural made for the big screen, but we get to tune into a sequel each week.

Then at 9p, Empire is back but someone isn’t. Is it just one person? Or two? Or three? Or is it no one at all? The episode picks up right after the season finale, so we immediately find out what happens. The incident causes a ripple effect that everyone will feel. Don’t want to more than that. Well just that it is back, better than ever.
https://youtu.be/84Tb6vAjmQg Lucifer was one my favorite shows last season, so I was happy that it was renewed for a second one. Then I started to worry that it might suffer the Sophomore Slump like so many other shows. After watching the first two episodes of the season, I happy to report that it hasn’t. In fact, I think it is more devilishly divine!
The season premiere on Fox tonight at 9p picks up days after the finale and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is on the search for his mother. He is looking for people who recently died and miraculously come back to life. Believe it or not, it happens more often than you think.
Then Lucifer might have caught a break when Decker (Lauren German) and him are called to investigate the murder on a set. Could the actress the victim was the body double be the body of his Dear Old Mom? He will do his hardest to find out and she will do her hardest to entice him.
All of this leads to a lot of moments that will leave you having one Hell of time and Ellis singing a beautiful song as he tickles the ivories toward the end of the show. It is worth watching this episode just for that, but you get so much more to sing about in return.

In a year of remakes and reboots, it is refreshing to get something different. Tonight after the football game on Fox, you will get to meet Son of Zorn and his father.
Zorn (Jason Sudeikis), the Defender of Zephyria, Conqueror of the tribes of Agon, decapitator of the dark herdsmen of Grith, has a 17 year old son that he hasn’t seen in several years. He decides to surprise Alangulon aka Alan (Johnny Pemberton) and he is the one that gets surprised.
His ex-wife Edie (Cheryl Hines) is engaged to Craig (Tim Meadows), who is nothing like him, and his nerdy son wants nothing to do with him.
Edie tells her ex-husband that he needs to move to Orange County, Ca and get to know his son before it is too late. Now, he needs to get a job and a apartment, which would be a lot easier for him to do if he wasn’t an animated character.
Did I bury the lede? Yes, Zorn is animated He-Man like character and he is going to try to live life in our world. Something that is much harder than he thought and he slaughter things for a living. Not only for him, but for Alan too. It is natural for teens to be embarrassed by their dads and Alan’s father does nothing but embarrass him in front of his friends and a possible girlfriend.
Will Zorn be able to fit in to our world as he works as an entry level sales person and reconnect with his family that doesn’t really want anything to do with him?
It will be interesting to see what happens in this hybrid animation/live action show every Sunday at 8:30p starting in two weeks.
Can I tell you, Son of Zorn was the show I was most looking forward to this Fall season and it doesn’t disappoint.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTwCrgSpLFs Home Free is back on Fox tonight at 9p and there have been a lot of changes to the show. Even though there have been a lot of changes, the one thing that hasn’t changed is all the heart!
Mike Holmes is back and this time Tim Tebow is helping him out. Another change is that the contestants are not working as couples, but by themselves. Instead of building their Dream House, they are building it for their hero. Each contestant has a different hero, like one man’s whose mother-in-law helped him through cancer or another person who wants to give the house to the person who gave their parent a kidney.
But before they can give them a house, they have to compete. It starts out the same, where the winner of the first challenge gets to pick their team. But how they figure out who goes to the elimination challenge is different. On tonight’s season premiere one contestant will do something that will have everyone turn against them. It will be interesting to see what happens next week to him.
But before we get to that, we see what happen when someone is eliminated. That is where the heart comes in and because of that I am so happy the show is back!

Over on NBC at 9p, Aquarius is back and this season starts out on August 9, 1969. A day that not only lived in infamy for Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony), but also for the whole world. That is day his followers killed Sharon Tate and 3 of her friends.
As that date plays out, we go back to 1967 and some of Manson’s followers have befriended Dennis Wilson from the Beach Boys. They will eventually move in with him and that will change things for Manson. We will see him start to evolve more into the man we know.
Then there’s Hodiak (David Duchovny) who has no idea that someday he will be investigating the man that shocked the world.
Now that Aquarius is tackling the Tate-LaBianca Murders, it is so much more interesting to watch. While it was interesting to see him become the cult figure in the first season, we also want to get to that climax moment. Now both of those moments have been merged together for this season.
