Nothing says Chanukah like Dave Grohl singing Lisa Loeb’s Stay in a dress!
November 28th, 2021 under Foo Fighters. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight is the first night of Chanukah! Happy Chanukah to all the Jews out there.

However, there is one goy that I should add to the list, and that is Dave Grohl. The singer brought back The Hannukkah Sessions with his Foo Fighters bandmate and member of the tribe Greg Kurstin.

They are starting off the Festival Lights by lighting up Lisa Loeb’s Stay. And when I say their version is lit like the shamash candle on the menorah.

Here is what Grohl said about choosing Stay for the first night, “Let’s kick it this year’s Hanukkah sessions with one of Dallas, Texas’s favorite Jewish daughters. So put on your coffee shop spectacles and your Betsey Johnson dress and HAVA listen to this…’Stay’ by @lisaloeb.”

Aren’t you happy that Chanukah is eight days long? Why? That is because we get seven more of these! I can’t wait to hear what they do next! Here is to hoping we get something from Culture Club or Josh Groban.

BTW There has to be a Rabbi out there somewhere that will make Grohl an honorary Jew! He’s earned it.

Dave Grohl plays the drums with his teeth
September 29th, 2021 under Foo Fighters, Howard Stern. [ Comments: none ]

Did you know that Dolly Parton created the music for her song 9 to 5 with her nails? It turns out that Dave Grohl does the same but with his teeth.

How does he do that? Yesterday, he gave Howard Stern a demonstration on the Shock Jock’s radio show.

Not only did the Foo Fighters singer show us how it’s done, but he also revealed that he is not the only band member of Nirvana who did it. Kurt Cobain also used that technique to keep on beat with the music.

How long has Grohl been doing this? Ever since he was a kid. It is so hard on his teeth that even his dentist noticed the deterioration of his teeth when he was just 11.

Even when the Rocker was a preteen, he was bad a$$!

Do any of you musicians do that too? I can’t wait for my drummer friends to wake up, so I can ask them if they use their teeth as an instrument. I have been using my nails as one ever since I found out about Miss Dolly. It is so much fun!

Rock Gd Dave Grohl schools WBC on love
August 6th, 2021 under Foo Fighters. [ Comments: none ]

The Foo Fighters did a concert in Kansas yesterday, so you know what that means. Hate group WBC came out to protest them.

Dave Grohl has a special relationship with them. A few years ago, he Rick Rolled them with Rick Astley’s Never Going to Give Up. That was then. This time, he played one of their songs for them.

However, not before saying to them, “Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve got something to say. Because you know what, I love you. I do,” he told the angry white fake Christians. “The way I look at it. I love everybody. Ain’t that what you are supposed to do. Can’t you just love everybody? Because I think it is about love. That is what I think. We’re all about love. You shouldn’t be hating. You know what y’all you be doing? You should be dancing!” That is when he broke into the Dee Gees’ (his Bee Gees cover band) You Should Be Dancing.

Since he literally drove off into the sunset, we didn’t find out if they danced his song. But they should be Disco is love just like the Foo Fighters. That is why I worship Grohl and not their fake Gd.

Watch Foo Fighters cover Bee Gees
July 12th, 2021 under Foo Fighters. [ Comments: none ]

We have heard Foo Fighters Rick Roll us with Rick Astley. Now, they are releasing a Disco album under the pseudonym Dee Gees.

Coming this Friday to a record store near you is their debut vinyl album Hail Satan. This would have totally confused everyone in the late ’70s. Almost as much as it is confusing us now.

The LP will include covers from the Bee Gees and their brother Andy Gibb. Today, they released their first single from it, and we will all be boogieing down to their unique take on You Should Be Dancing.

If Dave Grohl and the guys can resurrect Disco from the dead, I will be eternally grateful to them. I have been waiting for it to make a comeback for like ever. How groovy would it be if they were the ones to do it!

Love live Disco and Foo Fighters.

Listen to Rick Astley turn Never Gonna Give You Up into a Rock song
May 26th, 2021 under Foo Fighters, Rick Astley. [ Comments: none ]

Anyone who has been Rick Rolled can tell you that Never Going to Give You Up is a Pop song. Right?

Well, what if Rick Astley took his song and did it to Nirvana’s arrangement for Smells Like Teen Spirit. You see, Dave Grohl said that both arrangements are the same.

The other night the singer from Foo Fighters was on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and they played a game. The two of them had to guess what song The Roots were playing. Sounds easy, but they changed up the songs, so they were harder to identify.

Astley was playing on the internets and saw this bit, so it inspired him. Therefore, he took out his guitar and changed up the song we all know so well to make it edgier. Someone send this video to a record producer because I need to have it on my playlist now, now, now. It would be the best, the best, the best, the best, the best, the best, the best, the best.
