Jennifer and Ben Affleck are finally together
September 15th, 2025 under Ben Affleck, Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since we heard Jennifer Affleck’s name on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in 2024, we have wondered if she is related to Ben Affleck. And they are not.

However, we have still wanted to see the two Afflecks together, and we are not the only ones. Dunkin’ also wanted to see them in the same room, so they booked them both for a commercial.

They had the cashier call out Affleck, and the Dancing with the Stars contestant says it is for her, the Value Affleck, because she has “Twice the personality, half the price.”

Then she dissed the man who has the same last name as her husband: “You know what is not value? Ben. Why overpay for something no one wants? He is so dated. I’m younger, hotter. Can you believe that Ben is only 53? It is not like a young 53. It is a weathered 53.” That is what being married to Jennifer Lopez does to a man,

Back to the commercial. After she says that, we see the actor in the drive-thru saying that he is an average 53. Not compared to Matt Damon, who hasn’t aged since Good Will Hunting.

I wonder if Ben will go see her perform on DWTS, probably not after hearing her make those “rude” comments about him.

Sonic is on a mission to save pumpkins!
August 26th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

It is pumpkin season, and that means many of them are going to be sacrificed for our coffee drinks, pastries, Spam, candles, decorations, and so much more.

Well, Sonic is standing up for the little orange guy. And I am not talking about Trump’s penis. I am talking about the Halloween fruit.

How is the restaurant going to do that? There will be no pumpkin items on their menu this Fall. Instead, they are adding Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee and Salted Caramel Croissant Bites for us to enjoy.

  • Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee: Smooth cold brew is layered with rich salted caramel and buttery toffee, poured over signature SONIC ice and topped with creamy cold foam and crunchy salted toffee pieces. The Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee is priced at just $2.99* for a 20-ounce size.
  • Salted Caramel Croissant Bites: Flaky, golden pastries dusted with a caramel sugar blend. The Salted Caramel Croissant Bites come in a 4-piece pack for only $1.99* as part of the SONIC® $1.99 Menu and are perfect for dunking or sharing.

“Fall flavors don’t have to mean pumpkin spice on repeat. With the new Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee and Salted Caramel Croissant Bites, SONIC is stepping in to give pumpkins a much-needed break, all while giving guests something just as craveable,” said Barb Williams, Vice President of Category Management at SONIC. “Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee is the perfect sweet and creamy pick-me-up. And when paired with Croissant Bites, it’s the ultimate fall duo for guests who want their daily boost with a side of indulgence.”

The treats are now available to order via the app and will be available nationwide on Monday.

Too bad there aren’t any Sonics near Los Angeles. So I guess I will be killing innocent pumpkins. Sorry, not sorry!

Randy’s Donuts gets spicy for Hot Ones
August 21st, 2025 under Fast Food, Sean Evans Hot Ones. [ Comments: none ]

Believe it or not, Hot Ones is turning ten! So, to celebrate the milestone, Randy’s Donuts is honoring the talk show with a limited-edition donut. Because when I think of the web series where celebs eat increasingly hotter wings and answer questions, I think of donuts. I don’t, but someone did.

The Glaze of Glory Donut is a spicy glazed donut infused with Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo sauce and topped with a fiery Rojo butter crumb.

I love hot sauce, but I never imagined it as a donut. However, now that I know it exists, I can’t wait to try it.

And I think, next season, Sean Evans needs to change things up and have an episode where they dab the pastry with different hot sauces.

Dunkin’ has a latte for adults who never grew up!
August 20th, 2025 under Dunkin', Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

I don’t know about you, but I suffer from Peter Pan syndrome. As in, like a Toys”R”Us kid, I don’t want to grow up!

One of the ways I do that is by still eating kids’ cereals, like Lucky Charms. So imagine how happy I was when I heard about Dunkin’s new drink for the Fall.

Cereal N’ Milk Latte (hot or cold) combines espresso with cereal milk for a marshmallow-cereal flavor that’s creamy, rich and unmistakably nostalgic. Building on the success of the Dunkalatte™, Dunkin’ is taking its latte innovation to the next level with cereal milk made with real cereal, unlocking that unmistakable bottom-of-the-bowl sweetness.

“This latte is all about nostalgia! The idea came from the best part of eating cereal, that last bit of milk. We all remember finishing a bowl just to enjoy those final, sweet sips, which inspired our new Cereal N’ Milk Latte,” said Anthony Epter, vice president of menu innovation at Dunkin’. “With our very own cereal milk blended with rich espresso, the Cereal N’ Milk Latte brings that marshmallow-flavored, bottom-of-the-bowl taste in every sip. Just like the Dunkalatte, it gives the classic latte a fun new twist.”

That is not the only twist coming to the donut shop this season. They are adding Mixed Berry to Sabrina Carpenter’s Daydream Refreshers, which already includes Mango and Strawberry.

It would not be Fall without Pumpkin Spice, so the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte (hot or cold) is back. However, if you don’t want the latte, you can add pumpkin swirl to your hot or iced coffee, Cold Brew, or espresso drink.

And yes, there is food to go with those drinks. They are adding an Iced Pumpkin Loaf, a rich pumpkin and vanilla flavored pound cake topped with cream cheese icing, to the menu, which includes Pumpkin Cake Donuts and Pumpkin MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats.

See you later, I am heading to Dunkin’ because there is so much to tell you.

August 14th, 2025 under Fast Food, Harry Potter, Krispy Kreme. [ Comments: none ]

Krispy Kreme has created four magical donuts from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that people in Hogwarts and outside of it can enjoy. Well, everyone but Gellert Grindelwald and Lord Voldemort.

The four donuts are:

  • Gryffindor™ Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with cookie butter flavored Kreme™, dipped in red icing and Biscoff® cookie crumble, topped with golden icing drizzles and the Gryffindor™ crest.
  • Slytherin™ Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut topped with chocolate and green buttercreme flavored swirls, chocolate cookie sugar blend, and the Slytherin™ crest.
  • Hufflepuff™ Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with brown butter toffee flavored custard, dipped in golden yellow icing, and topped with black chocolate drizzle, cookie crunch, and the Hufflepuff™ crest.
  • Ravenclaw™ Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in blueberry flavored icing, topped with the Ravenclaw™ sprinkles and crest.

Shhh. Don’t tell anyone. But there is a fifth limited edition donut.

  • Sorting Hat™ Doughnut is a filled doughnut, with a mystery-colored Kreme™ representing one of the four Hogwarts Houses, then dipped in chocolate flavored icing, sprinkled with shimmering gold stars and gold sugar, and topped with the Sorting Hat™ piece. Take a bite to see which house you will reveal. The Sorting Hat doughnut is sold separately in a limited-edition specialty box, while supplies last.

“We’re channeling the beloved magic of Harry Potter™ and the Houses of Hogwarts™ for a collection that is truly bewitching,” said Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer for Krispy Kreme. “But the magic is fleeting, and so are these doughnuts, so don’t miss your chance to try them!”

The yummy treats will cast their spell on us starting on August 18th.

Oh, and you need a potion to wash them down with, and they have that too.

Golden Snitch™ Latte, a rich golden caramel toffee-inspired latte, topped with whipped cream, Biscoff® cookie crumble, and a sprinkle of golden shimmer sugar.
