Burger King’s spooky menu!
September 30th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

We are a month away from Halloween, and Burger King has already gotten into the holiday spirit with four special treats on their first-ever Monster Menu.

    • Jack-O-Lantern Whopper® – The iconic flame-grilled Whopper®, stacked with American cheese, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mayo, on a striking Jack O’ Lantern orange bun topped with black sesame seeds that gets its festive hue from natural spice.
    • Vampire Nuggets – Crispy chicken nuggets shaped like vampire fangs and bats served in a carton designed as a coffin, perfect for dipping and sharing with your coven. These fang-tastic treats are available as part of the King Jr. Meal® or a la carte.
    • Mummy Mozzarella Fries – Crispy mozzarella sticks “wrapped” in golden breading, paired with a marinara dipping sauce and served in a special limited-edition mummy-themed box.
    • Franken-Candy Sundae – Creamy vanilla soft serve topped with a franken-mix of OREO cookie crumbles, purple franken-candy syrup, and purple and green popping candy, stitching together one electrifyingly sweet dessert.

“BK fans have come to expect something spirited from us during the Halloween season, and each year we try to bring even more fun to families,” said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King US&C. “This year, we’ve dialed up the fun and flavor, not only with our ‘Monster Menu’ line-up complete with themed menu innovation, packaging and a special crown, but also with collectible buckets and Scooby-Doo toys – creating even more experiences for everyone.”

That menu is for adults. However, kids can get a King Jr. Kids Meal with four Vampire Nuggets that come in a coffin and one of six awwwdorable Scooby Doo toys to share with their parents or me.

You can order all of the above starting today. Then, on October 13th, you will be able to purchase one of the collectible trick-or-treat buckets.

Red Monster’s Mega Monster Burger is truly scary
September 25th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Red Robin is getting into the Halloween spirit with some tricky treats that are sure to make your heart beat faster.

The Mega Monster Burger is a monster burger that comes stacked with three juicy beef patties, six slices of melty cheese, pickle relish, onion, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, served on a black-and-white sesame seed bun. If that is enough food for you, it comes with your choice of a bottomless side.

You need something to wash all of that meat down with, and you can get that with the Mad Scientist Margarita. The adults-only drink combines blanco tequila, agave, and lime juice with a little twist. That twist is a beaker of scarlet elixir (also known as grenadine) tableside, which you get to add to your drink.

If you prefer not to drink alcohol or are under 21, then you can order the Candied Orange Fizzy Soda, a blend of candied orange flavor mixed with Sprite and topped with cold foam.

The Spooky Menu is available from September 29th until November 2nd. Are you brave enough to try the Mega Monster Burger? I am not sure my heart can handle it, but I might dare to test it out.

September 24th, 2025 under Fast Food, Jonas Brothers, Krispy Kreme. [ Comments: none ]

Sabrina Carpenter is selling Espresso with Dunkin’, but Krispy Kreme is giving the milk away for free, as in you can get a Cup of Joe…Jonas with milk if you want!

That’s right! On Monday, aka National Coffee Day, for one day only, you can get a FREE medium hot or iced coffee and a FREE doughnut of your choice, no purchase necessary, in their stores or via their drive-thru.

“I went and found the Krispy Kreme team and sat down with them, and I said, ‘I want to make National Coffee Day history,’ and that’s what this is,” said Jonas, Jonas Brothers singer and Krispy Kreme fan.

And with that, Joe is my favorite JoBro. Actually, I’ve always been a sucker for him.

Panera Bread gets their Fall on with Gilmore Girls’ sexy men
September 24th, 2025 under Fast Food, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since Gilmore Girls debuted in 2000, it has been associated with the Fall season. Because of that, Panera Bread decided to use two of the series’ hotties, Dean and Logan, I mean Jared Padalecki and Matt Czuchry, to promote their hot Fall menu items, which debuted today.

  • NEW Harvest Medley Chicken Salad – Mixed greens and fresh arugula tossed in balsamic vinaigrette, topped with whole grain blend, grilled chicken, mandarin oranges, feta, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, toasted pecans, and crunchy beet strips.
  • NEW Crème Brûlée Latte – Freshly brewed espresso, foamed milk and naturally flavored crème brûlée syrup, topped with whipped cream and salted caramel sugar.
  • Black Bean Soup – Returning to menu after 7 years, this guest favorite is a hearty vegetarian soup featuring black beans, onion, celery, red bell pepper, carrots, lima beans, potatoes, lemon juice, and garlic.
  • Autumn Squash Soup – A Panera seasonal classic featuring butternut squash and pumpkin blended with vegetable broth, honey, apple juice, and warm spices like cinnamon and curry, finished with sweet cream and topped with roasted pumpkin seeds.
  • Hearty Fireside Chili – A rich chili made with beef, kidney beans, fire-roasted tomatoes, and green chili peppers, simmered in a flavorful broth with chili spices and cilantro.
  • Plus, the return of Panera’s seasonal Pumpkin Cookie.

And with that new commercial, millennial girls wearing Uggs and skinny jeans are running to Panera to try one of those delicious meals. So the cafe better turn up the Backstreet Boys because they want it that way.

And they also want Jess. Why isn’t Milo Ventimiglia in that ad too? What is he, a Spring fling who is part of a different menu?

Would you use clam strips soap?
September 16th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Howard Johnson is turning 100, so to celebrate, they are bringing back their famous clam strips.

But their restaurants are all closed down. So, how are they going to do it? They turned them into soap. The soap strips have infusions of lemon, sea salt, and a hint of butter.

People who stay at their hotels starting today can get a free bar of soap while supplies last by saying “fried clams” when they check in.

The rest of us have to wait until October 3rd to try to be one of the 100 people who can buy one for $19.25 at HoJo.com.

As soon as I saw this story, I found myself missing HoJo. I wish they would bring them back!
