After a few seconds of just laughter, Jim explained, “I’m Irish!” I don’t know, the Irish guys I dated would not have the nurses talking about that.

On a different note, but along the same lines, Jimmy Fallon and Taraji P Henson played Fast Family Feud on The Tonight Show yesterday and Cookie is just as ruthless when she plays actual games. Poor Fallon didn’t have a chance.
Jussie Smollett is starring is last year’s biggest hit Empire, so you would think he would have enough money to hire someone to clean the house. Yet, his co-star Gabourey Sidibe shared a video of him cleaning the floors. Although, I am not sure if it is as much a video of him being his own maid, as much as Gabby’s maid to order. For some reason it really felt like a fetish video. So much so, I hope that Gabby gave him a really good tip.

Terrence Howard is going to be on Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle tomorrow and he mouths The Commodores’ Brick House. The weird thing is he did it dressed as Rick James who didn’t sing song. Why? We don’t know. You would think a man who plays the head of a record label on Empire would know that. Guess not.

We are two months and a day away from getting a new episode Empire, and Fox released the first footage from the most anticipated season premiere today. Instead of Lucious going to visit Cookie in jail, she is going to visit him. I like the role reversal because it gives her time to run their record label and you know she is drunk with power. Cookie running things is a scary thing for those under her and a dream for us.
So mark your calendars for the return on the biggest show in decades on September 23rd.
Empire is back in production and the cast is hard at work on the biggest show in decades. So hard that the actors takes a cat nap whenever they can. Taraji P Henson was woken up early yesterday with the news that she received an Emmy nomination, so she was a little more tired than normal. She took a quick shut eye and her TV son, Jussie Smollett was there to capture that moment. Sadly for him, the production bell went off and he was busted. First by the crew and then by his TV mom. Proving that the reason why Henson is so perfect as Cookie is because that character is more her than the role. Good thing there were no brooms around or Jamal would understand what his older brother felt in that infamous scene.
