Jimmy Kimmel has been chosen to present Regis Philbin with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmy Awards on ABC on June 20th! I can't wait to see how Kimmel presents it to him because as you can tell these two do have a history together!
BTW as of now Regis will be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on June 24th, unless the Daytime Emmys don't go well…

Will Ryan Seacrest get an Emmy?

The Emmys have added a new category to this year's awards, host of a reality or reality-competition program according to TV Week
“Reality television has become such an integral part of television and our culture,” said ATAS Chairman John Shaffner in a statement, “so it only made sense for us to create this new highly competitive category.”
Ryan Seacrest, Jeff Probst, Jerry Springer and Tom Beregon will all be duking it out for this award. But I think it will be Ryan Seacrest bringing home one of those little statuettes. Sorry Simon Cowell you are not eligible you have a to be "the host" not a Judge, participant or panelist. Better luck next time they add a new category!

All I am going to say is that the Emmys had the potential to be so good, but it just missed out and gave it to people who didn't necessarily deserve it. The ones I am happy with are James Spader, Terry O'Quinn, America Ferrara and James Spader!!!

BTW I guess The Sopranos did not go with the bang everyone thought it would.
