Eddie Murphy doesn’t like to lose |
February 26th, 2007 under Eddie Murphy, Oscars. [ Comments: none ]

Us Weekly reports that shortly after Eddie Murphy lost out to Alan Arkin for Best Supporting Actor, he got up and left the show. A few years ago Will Smith left the Oscars early to tend to a sick child, but he wasn't nominated at the time. I wonder what Eddie Murphy's excuse will be? Was he trying to beat the limo line? Jack Nicholson's bald head was blinding him? Scary Spice said she got the DNA results and the baby is his? Ellen did not stop by and say hi? He just can't handle being loser? Hopefully his publicist will write some great BS story why he walked out, can't wait to read it!

Could Simon Cowell have killed Eddie Murphy’s singing career? |
January 15th, 2007 under American Idol 1-5, Eddie Murphy, Simon Cowell. [ Comments: none ]

IT turns out that SIMON COWELL hasn’t always been the Mr Nasty of pop. In a recent interview the X Factor creator told how he has always regretted not speaking out and putting an end to EDDIE MURPHY’S pop dreams. Simon was hired to help the love rat hit the high notes in the early 1980s and, in hindsight, wishes he had the nerve back then to tell the Beverly Hills Cop star he was terrible. The American Idol judge, who is famous for letting wannabes know exactly what he thinks on reality TV talent shows, was not quite as honest with Eddie. Simon says: "He was interested in making a record, so I flew to the east coast (of America), to his huge house, and I was very intimidated. "I thought it would be just the two of us and a hi-fi. But I ended up in a recording studio with about 20 nodders – a nodder is someone who gets paid to agree with the person paying him. "Eddie started to play some songs, which I hated, and I just didn’t know what to say. "Now I’d find it a lot easier. I would just say ‘I hate it’."

Oh I wish he did because that was some painful music.

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is reportedly under round-the-clock police protection after suffering harassment from Eddie Murphy fans following her traumatic split with the actor. The British singer, who is five months pregnant, is receiving verbal abuse from a group of Murphy fans standing outside her rented home in Los Angeles. Brown and Murphy started dating in June, but the Hollywood star cut all ties with her last month and is now demanding a DNA test to determine whether he’s the father of her unborn baby. A source told British newspaper The Sun: "Her life is being made intolerable by Eddie’s fans camped outside. They shout insults and give her abuse all the time. The police have decided to place an officer outside to keep an eye on things."

Mel B is planning to reveal results of her baby’s paternity test on live TV. The former Spice Girl is reportedly determined to get revenge on her former lover, actor Eddie Murphy, who dumped her during an interview on Dutch television at the end of last year. After the split, the ‘Dr Dolittle’ actor said he would be demanding a DNA test to confirm he is the father of Mel’s unborn child, due to be born in March. Jilted Mel is determined to have the last laugh by revealing the results to the entire world. A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: "When she does have the DNA test to prove Murphy is the father, she will spill the beans on American TV. And she’ll see how Eddie likes it with the boot in the other foot." Mel – who started dating Eddie in June last year – apparently decided to take revenge on her former lover after being encouraged to do so by her friends and family. The source added: "All Mel’s female friends have rallied round and told her she should remember that revenge is best served cold and they told her she should name and shame him on national TV.

Scary Spice taking Eddie Murphy to court for their unborn child??? |
December 20th, 2006 under Eddie Murphy, Spice Girls. [ Comments: none ]

SCARY Spice, Mel B has hired a top Hollywood lawyer to fight comic Eddie Murphy in the courts. The 31-year-old has called in legal veteran Don Engel to take on the funnyman, who has denied he is the father of her unborn child. Engel, who charges $500 an hour, has represented heavyweight artists including Cher, Meatloaf and Fleetwood Mac. He has an unrivalled reputation as one of Hollywood’s biggest legal hitters and is renowned in the music biz. Mel has vowed to get every penny she can from the 45-year-old actor who she began dating six months ago. She was dumped after he claimed in an interview on Dutch TV that they were no longer an item. And the Beverly Hills Cop star has even demanded a DNA test to prove whether he was the father or not. A pal of the former Spice Girl said: "Mel is refusing to lie down and let Eddie walk all over her – and this is reflected in her choice of lawyer. "She wants to hit him where it hurts… in the pocket and they don’t come much better than Don." Sources suggest that Mel may be able to get as much as £15million in lifelong payments for their unborn child. Yorkshire-born Mel – real name Melanie Brown – interviewed a raft of Hollywood lawyers before she plumped for Don’s services. A law insider said: "Don’s services don’t come cheap but he is one of the best lawyers around. "Most lawyers would relish taking on an A-list star and Don will surely be no exception." Murphy, who is already dating film producer Tracey Edmonds, 39, will be no pushover though. He has millions to throw at an equally heavyweight lawyer and will fight Mel B’s claim all the way. But a pal close to Mel said: "She is just as feisty and is determined to win. "A reconciliation is probably out the question after he humiliated her in such a way on television. "She has been devastated by what has happened – especially since they had talked about marriage. "This is war – and if Eddie doesn’t know it, he will very shortly." You go, girl…
3am Girls
You know at this point she is just doing it to humilate him which I guess she does owe him one for what he did to her…but if she did cheat on him then…well maybe they are even. I just don’t know anymore.
