Wicked is one of the most popular words in Boston. Dunkin’ is the most popular donut place in that city. So it makes sense that Dunkin’ and Universal would team up to promote Wicked: For Good’s release this month.
“Wicked: For Good is such a stunning blend of heart, music, and imagination,” said Jill Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin’. “Partnering with a story that means so much to fans everywhere gave us the chance to have a little fun with our own world, too. The result is a collaboration that’s playful, creative – and in true Boston fashion, wicked good.”
For this month only, you can choose from these three Wicked good treats:
Wicked Green Matcha: An emerald elixir fit for Elphaba herself. Dunkin’s classic Iced Matcha Latte gets a wicked twist with brown sugar and toasted almond flavors, made with whole milk for a creamy finish. Guests can also customize with oatmilk or almondmilk.
Wicked Pink Refresher: Forthose who prefer a touch of Glinda’s sparkle, this bright, bubbly pink drink is bursting with strawberry, dragonfruit, and blueberry flavors and made with sparkling water.
Wicked MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats: At Dunkin’, there’s no place like the donut case. Old Fashioned Glazed MUNCHKINS® get the ultimate Wicked pink-and-green makeover, inspired by Oz’s most iconic duo.
The Glindas and Elphebas in your lives will love the Munchkins as well, as much as the Munchkins like Boq.
I don’t know about you, but I suffer from Peter Pan syndrome. As in, like a Toys”R”Us kid, I don’t want to grow up!
One of the ways I do that is by still eating kids’ cereals, like Lucky Charms. So imagine how happy I was when I heard about Dunkin’s new drink for the Fall.
Cereal N’ Milk Latte (hot or cold) combines espresso with cereal milk for a marshmallow-cereal flavor that’s creamy, rich and unmistakably nostalgic. Building on the success of the Dunkalatte™, Dunkin’ is taking its latte innovation to the next level with cereal milk made with real cereal, unlocking that unmistakable bottom-of-the-bowl sweetness.
“This latte is all about nostalgia! The idea came from the best part of eating cereal, that last bit of milk. We all remember finishing a bowl just to enjoy those final, sweet sips, which inspired our new Cereal N’ Milk Latte,” said Anthony Epter, vice president of menu innovation at Dunkin’. “With our very own cereal milk blended with rich espresso, the Cereal N’ Milk Latte brings that marshmallow-flavored, bottom-of-the-bowl taste in every sip. Just like the Dunkalatte, it gives the classic latte a fun new twist.”
That is not the only twist coming to the donut shop this season. They are adding Mixed Berry to Sabrina Carpenter’s Daydream Refreshers, which already includes Mango and Strawberry.
It would not be Fall without Pumpkin Spice, so the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte (hot or cold) is back. However, if you don’t want the latte, you can add pumpkin swirl to your hot or iced coffee, Cold Brew, or espresso drink.
And yes, there is food to go with those drinks. They are adding an Iced Pumpkin Loaf, a rich pumpkin and vanilla flavored pound cake topped with cream cheese icing, to the menu, which includes Pumpkin Cake Donuts and Pumpkin MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats.
See you later, I am heading to Dunkin’ because there is so much to tell you.
In the mornings, we desire Dunkin’ coffee. However, they don’t have anything for us to drink at night. Well, that had changed because the donut shop teamed up with Kahlúa for a drink that is for adults only!
Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur is a rich, velvety, creamy liqueur that perfectly blends Dunkin’s iconic caramel swirl flavor with real cream, 100% Arabica coffee from Veracruz, and a generous splash of premium rum. Resulting in a balanced taste sensation that’s Dunkin’ delicious.
“This collaboration blends premium indulgence with everyday coffee culture,” said Brian Gilbert, Vice President, Retail Business Development, Dunkin’. “Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl is a bold step in the cream liqueur category for both brands and a delicious new treat for coffee and cocktail enthusiasts alike.”
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to make a White Russian with the liqueur and dunk some Dunkin’ Munchkins Donut Holes into it. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect after-dinner dessert?
If this news is not sweet enough, here is some more…this flavor is not going anywhere because it is part of Kahlúa’s permanent line.
NBC announced today when their shows will debut for the Fall schedule, and they made one huge change.
The Hunting Party, which was supposed to air on Thursdays at 10p, is being held until the midseason. Instead, Law & Order: Organized Crime, which moved to Peacock, is returning to NBC on Thursday nights, with repeats that originally aired on the streamer. Therefore, giving Dick Wolf two nights of broadcasting: One Chicago Wednesdays and Law & Order Thursdays.
The network is also doubling up on comedies. St. Denis Medical and Happy Place will air two episodes on their respective days, Mondays and Fridays. I am not sure if that is a good plan or not. What do you think?
What I do think is that NBC has the advantage over ABC and Fox because they are airing more scripted programming than the other two.
THE FALL PREMIERE DATES/TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS (All times ET)
File this under, I can’t believe someone did not think of this earlier.
Back in April, Sabrina Carpenter released her chart-topping single, Espresso, that became the song of the summer. So, you would think one of the coffee or donut shops would have released a coffee drink with her before now. But they didn’t.
Dunkin’ announced today that they teamed up with the singer for a drink! The Sabrina Carpenter’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso is freshly hand-shaken behind the counter in a dedicated espresso shaker. The drink brings bold espresso, creamy oat milk, and brown sugar notes in a smooth, frothy sip, ready to energize guests’ daily routine in the new year.
“When we first dreamed up Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso at Dunkin’, it had to be more than another delicious drink on the menu — we wanted to bring some levity to guests’ everyday coffee order,” said Jill McVicar Nelson, Chief Marketing Officer at Dunkin’. “Working with one of America’s most beloved pop stars, Sabrina Carpenter, adds a spirited, fresh energy that perfectly aligns with Dunkin’s love of bold taste and good-natured fun. Through our new ad campaign, we’re showing guests that their new drink order can be both delicious and a wink at embracing life’s lighter side — exactly what Dunkin’ is all about.”
I betcha that Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, and Krispy Kreme are kicking themselves for not thinking of this earlier.
The Sabrina Carpenter’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso is available to order starting tomorrow.
