Eamonn Walker steps down as a series regular on Chicago Fire |

|  (Photo by: Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC) Chicago Fire is entering its 13th season in the Fall. So, it would make sense that some of the actors would like to move on and do something different. Several stars, including Jesse Spencer, Lauren Herman, and Kara Kilmer, have departed the first responders procedural.
Today, Deadline is reporting that another OG is stepping down. Eamonn Walker, who plays Chief Boden, will no longer be a series regular. However, he will most likely appear in a few episodes in the future.
Deadline says it was his decision to be a part-time player. As for how we will say goodbye to his character, this is the description for May 22nd’s season finale: “Boden makes a decision that impacts the race for Deputy Commissioner.”
I can’t say I blame him. His character hasn’t been used much in the last few seasons. And how many times can he save Firehouse 51?
It will be interesting to see who will replace him in the firehouse. I just hope it is not someone who is trying to close it down again. That storyline is boring at this point.
When it comes to Walker, I cannot wait to see what he does next.

Law & Order: Organized Crime is cancelled by NBC and saved by Peacock |

|  (Photo by: Will Hart/NBC) The good news is that Law & Order: Organized Crime is still alive for season 5. The bad news is that it is moving to Peacock for ten episodes.
However, moving to Peacock might not be a bad thing because they will promote it more than NBC ever did. So, it is probably a great thing.
Are you going to follow the Dick Wolf procedural to the streaming service?
On that note, Wolf no longer controls three weeknights of television. He only has series on two and two-thirds of the broadcast week, with three FBI shows on CBS’s Tuesdays, three Chicago dramas on NBC’s Wednesdays, and two Law & Orders on NBC’s Thursdays. He better be working on a new Law & Order so he can have Thursdays fully back.

CBS sticks with three FBIs |

In 2018, CBS got into the Dick Wolf business with FBI. Since then, they added two more shows to the franchise, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International.
All three shows are doing well. Therefore, it should not be a surprise that CBS picked all of them up for next season today.
“The All-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “Dick Wolf and the talent in front of and behind the camera on all three series continue to deliver top-notch storytelling, riveting action and intrigue that has captivated a dedicated fanbase steadily across multiple seasons. We are excited to see what next season holds for all these heroic characters.”
With these renewals, 8 out of Wolf Entertainment’s 9 scripted shows will be on the schedule next season. The only series waiting to hear its fate is Law & Order: Organized Crime.

NBC picks up all of Dick Wolf’s show but one |

Today was a very good day for Dick Wolf, but it wasn’t an excellent one. That is because NBC picked up Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Law & Order, and Law & Order: SVU for another season. However, they have yet to make a decision about Law & Order: OC, which stars Chris Meloni.
I can see them cancelling that series and moving him back to SVU so that Stabler and Benson can finally be together. And then giving Wolf a new scripted procedural on the network.
After speaking with my cop friend yesterday, I would love to see one based on the Internal Affairs Division. What would you like to see them tackle next?

Will Severide make it to Brett and Casey’s wedding on Chicago Fire? |

|  (Photo by: Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC) On February 28th at 9p, Brett (Kara Killmer) and Casey (Jesse Spencer) are finally getting married on Chicago Fire. However, they will be saying I do in a smelly place, as in a fish shop and not the aquarium that she was promised.
But their nuptials won’t stink. That is because Severide (Taylor Kinney) will be back to see them walk down the aisle.
The bromance between Severide and Casey is strong because both actors return from their hiatuses to see their Best Man on their special days.
So, as we say goodbye to Killmer and Spencer, we are left wondering if Kinney will say hello again.
While we don’t know that, it is nice to know he will be there for the wedding.
