FX rescues Rescue Me for another season!!! |
November 1st, 2007 under Denis Leary. [ Comments: none ]

Zap2It says that FX picked up Rescue Me for a 22 episode 5th season!!! Rescue Me is one of my favorite shows, so getting 9 extra episodes for the 5th season has me beyond excited! I can't wait to see what they do with those extra 9 episodes! Hopefully more Gavin family AA meetings and stupid boys will boys contest! And I wonder who they will kill off since they already killed off Gavin's mom, dad, brother, son, cousin and his boss that leaves his only his wife, two daughters, new son, his cousin's widow, sister, Uncle Teddy and his battalion alive. Unlike his family at least the show will have a longer life!

Denis Leary vs Sting in Hair-Off 2007 |
September 4th, 2007 under Denis Leary, The Police. [ Comments: 4 ]

So 14 years ago Denis Leary commented on Sting's receding hair line and Sting was stung by his words. So he did an interview with Rolling Stone in '93 and said,
"I saw Denis Leary deconstruct me on television. He said, 'Sting singing about saving the f**king rainforest – he should save his f**king hair'.
"I want to meet Denis Leary in about 10 years. 'Hey, Denis, how's it feel, ya bald c**t'".
Now that ten years has past and then some, Denis Leary is calling him on his challenge according to Female First.
"Sting called me a c**t. I said something about his hair, or lack thereof, and he called me a c**t and said that when I got older, we should compare hair.
Ummm looking at those pictures Denis Leary won that one hairs down, I mean hands down. BTW as someone who watches Rescue Me every week, I admire Denis Leary's full head of blond locks. As someone who saw Sting touring with The Police, I was blinded by the lights shining off of Sting's head wear hair used to be. I can't wait to hear Sting's reaction to Denis Leary's full of head of hair 14 years later…

Denis Leary wants to Rescue Paris Hilton |

Denis Leary brought a picture of Paris Hilton's mug shot to the Rescue Me screening yesterday.
Can I tell you I watched the first 3 episodes of the fourth season of Rescue Me yesterday and they are freaking amazing! OMG! Seriously I was laughing so hard yesterday, I think this might be the best season yet! I learned what a spank bank is and let's just say a scene where they are describing who is in their spank bank is freaking hysterical! And the 3rd episode ends with a bang, I am pissed I will have to wait until to July to find out what happens. I will talk more about the first 3 episodes of one my favorite shows before it premieres next Wednesday on FX!!!

Denis Leary to Jennifer Espisito…Rescue Me? |
February 19th, 2007 under Denis Leary. [ Comments: none ]

Jennifer Esposito – aka Mrs. Bradley Cooper – is joining the cast of Rescue Me as a volunteer firefighter and potential love interest for Denis Leary’s Tommy. According to my RM insider, we’ll discover in the Season 4 premiere (slated for June) that the two share a very surprising connection that may or may not date back to last season’s fiery cliff-hanger. Speaking of Rescue Me, remind me to share with you in this week’s AA the new piece of prattle I stumbled upon concerning the (spoiler alert) big death coming early in the season.
Michael Ausiello
I love this show! I read last week that someone was going to die off, now I want to know who? Last year Denis Leary said in an interview that mid-way through next season he wanted to send everyone into a fire and kill them off. Guess FX only agreed to one.
