Ooh, Heaven Is a Place on Earth because it is Debbie Gibson and Belinda Carlisle together again. Back in the ’80s, boys were mad about them, but it was only in their dreams that they saw them together. So, they had to get up and go because they needed to shake their love for the two singers. You know, because they got the beat it off!
I will take a vacation from those jokes even though I am head over heels about them.
Anyways, can we talk about how great Gibson, 51, and The Go-Go’s singer, 61, look? They still have the electric youth. Last one! Because there is nothing else to say because I think I am alone now with my sense of humor. Whoops, wrong singer!
Debbie Gibson sang about Electric Youth in the ’80s, and she still has it. So, when the 51-year-old heard Whitney Houston’s How Will I Know on the speaker at the mall, she couldn’t help but to sing and dance to it. However, she stopped when she thought other people were looking at her.
If it were arch-nemesis Tiffany, then it would have been a different story. If Tiffany were to sing and dance at a mall, everyone would join in like it was 1988 all over again. They would all be thinking they were alone with her, living out their ’80s dream!
Now, back to Gibson. I am sure there are plenty of men who would love to shake their love with her in those short shorts. Gotta love that she is over 50 and can still rock those Daisy Dukes. She never ages, so it is hard to believe she has been doing this for 35 years. Can you like believe it?
Debbie Gibson closed out August by turning 51 years old. However, you would never know it by looking at her in a bikini.
The singer explained why she posted this photo as a gift to us:
On this, the night of my Birthday, and a life moment that is like a rebirth, this felt like the perfect expression of my journey to this magical moment. When I was at my lowest points in the last decade, literally laying face down on the cold bathroom floor in physical and emotional pain, inside I was still looking up and trusting that someway, somehow I was going to find myself as you see me in this picture… Looking up to the skies with stars showering down on me and bathed in a light that would help me project to all of you strength and joy and music and empowerment and the knowledge that the visions you hold for yourself and the voices in your own head are far more powerful than anything external threatening to take you down. Once you announce to the universe that you are open to receive, it may take a moment, a year, or a decade, but you will eventually reclaim your freedom that’s there inside you… right inside you. So, put it out there. Start today. You are worthy of living your best life. Happy rebirth day … hands to the sky and let the stars shower their light upon you 🌟
She might have released her album Electric Youth when she was just 18 years old. But the theme has carried on with her for the last 32 years because she is the epitome of electric youth!
Debbie Gibson released a new music video today. She is proving to the world with One Step Closer that you can still be sexy as all f*ck even when you are 50.
She went from a teeny bopper to a seductrious, and this video confirms it.
It also confirms that the Electic Youth is still strong with her.
Debbie Gibson and Joey McIntyre are going to do a residency together in Vegas in August. To make the show even more special, the two of them recorded a duet together to one of her songs.
The teeny bopper and the boy bander reworked Lost In Your Eyes, and the song is a million times better. Not that it was bad to begin with, it is just what the tune needed to make it even greater.
I almost want to go to the City of Sin and see them perform it live.
Now, I want them to do a duet to one of the New Kids on the Block’s songs. Which one do you think they should do?
